"This house was great! Very spacious. The house was pretty clean. It did have some chip crumbs left behind in the kitchen and the main bedroom. I got the vacuum and just cleaned up. The pool down stairs was a major hit for my children but there were no pool towels. Thankfully I had brought some of my own because I just didn’t know what to expect. Same for trash bags because I saw someone else in a review say there was only the one trash bag and that was correct. We only had one major issue. There...

"We enjoyed a wonderful week at Sugar Bear’s chalet! On our last night we received a visit from a mama bear and her FOUR cubs. Truly an amazing experience. "

"This cabin is absolutley beautiful. We enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area. We also loved the number of bathrooms and bedrooms. The only downsides were that one of the bedrooms is actually a closet with a curtain as a door and there is VERY LITTLE room to move around in it and the road getting to the cabin is a one lane road with lots of pot holes. I drove a mini bus to the cabin and it was a little difficult to navigate the sharp turn to go up to the cabin with all of the pot holes. The...

"This house was absolutely perfect for our large family. Plenty of bedrooms so we all had our own spaces. The two large living areas worked out so well for playing games, eating, cooking, and just visiting. There were a couple of small maintenance issues during our stay but the property managers were extremely responsive and everything was resolved immediately. We all loved it! Would definitely rent again."

"Overall this is a great stay in the mountains. Close to hiking trails and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin has everything you need. The owner is extremely responsive and answers messages right away! I only gave it 4 stars because some aspects of the cabin were worn and need updating."
