"Felt like home. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Lots to do just minutes away. Great home base for laid back morning, afternoon, or all day excursions - all the shops in downtown Waynesville, the Parkway, Christopher Farms, Lake Junaluska, all highly recommended."

"Nothing but great things to say about the Cherry Hideaway. The house is located in neighborhood of other A Frames with placed between massive natural boulders that populate the area. It is a magnificent place to get away. Loved the design of the interior, record player and large deck. Location between Boone and Blowing Rock is ideal. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had everything we needed right at the cabin. Big pile of split wood for the wood stove ready. We were able to see a bear, private, good parking, gracious, responsive host, easy to get to town, nice rds to travel, great mt cabin w stunning view!"

"The cabin was an awesome home base for our two teens and a friend each. They skied every day - at Beech and Sugar. Host was very responsive - not that we had any issues - tho we asked for recommendations. House was clean and well appointed - lots of bathrooms - great set up for a big family or two! "

"The house is beautiful. Towels were one per person- a few extra on hand would have been nice but not essential. The house had all the basic kitchen equipment. The trees have grown out since the original photos were taken so the views were a little obscured, but the area is gorgeous. We had family staying at Fontana Village and it took about 25 minutes to get there, 30 if you're not comfortable on the curvy roads. Having so much space for everyone to gather together was great.
