"Place was cute and cozy. We had six people (2 adults/ 2 teens/ 2 kids) and it was just right for our family as a home base as we left everyday for Dollywood/National Park/Gatlinburg. We mostly stayed out most of everyday. Only thing is if you have a larger family and want to stay in, the living room seating isn’t enough with 1 chair and 1 sofa, but if your like us and out most of the time or sitting on the back porch- the living room seating doesn’t matter. "Our stay at the chalet was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and beautiful everything was. The chalet is spotless, cozy, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. "I took my 16 yr old daughter and her best friends for a weekend stay in May. The teens had a blast in the arcade room hanging out and playing pool and video games. There were no issues finding the house or getting into the driveway in my loaded down CRV. The owners sent excellent directions. If it was wintertime, I would have needed four wheel drive, I think. "This house is excellent! I chose the location as it’s 2 miles from Appalachia trailhead which made a long day of hiking in the northern presis really great to just get right home after! This is a brand new built house and is beautiful, clean and quiet. This house has everything you need for a weekend away. Will definitely book again! "

"This is a beautiful house. The pictures do not do the views enough justice. You can watch sun rise over the mountains from your bed. Hosts were absolutely amazing and communication was excellent. Wonderful place to stay!"

"Excellent and responsive communications with the host. The property is centrally located with lakeside view. Older 2 story home with steep staircases for entry access and interior 2nd floor bedrooms. Master bedroom bathroom is spacious. All other bathrooms are small but functional. The kitchen is well equipped with flatware, utensils and cookware."

"The location was perfect! Very easy walk to the gondola and beautiful views from the patio. Parking wasn’t very difficult. The steam shower was wonderful. The kitchen is small but useable, perfect for a short weekend or if you don’t plan on cooking much. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again!"

"The property and especially the views are spectacular It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with kitchen equipment. Nice game room, and wet bar and plenty of room around the fire pit with firewood provided!!! The owner was readily available for any questions. This was our 4 th consecutive year sub Roosters Den and look forward to going again next year"
