"Please be aware that this is not a real VRBO property, but instead a time share. When we checked in, they tried to get us to attend a presentation in exchange for a free gift. They will try to sell you a time share. It's really not cool that this was not disclosed. It took forever for us to check in because of the upsell scam. "I made a reservation through Expedia/VRBO, and the host canceled less than 24 hours before check-in without providing any explanation.
When I contacted Expedia, they were not aware that the reservation had been canceled. I then contacted VRBO, where the listing was posted. VRBO was unable to reach the host to determine the reason for the cancellation and could only confirm that the reservation had been active and fully confirmed in their system.
As a result, I had to spend valuable time working...
