"One of the reasons that I wanted to get this place was because of the backyard. But when we got there, it was dirty. The table and the chairs and the grill were filled with spiderwebs. There was no way I was going to use that. Also, it’s like a double property rental. There’s a house behind it and there’s a gate that separates the two houses. "The house is perfect for a family or two. Lots of beds, and they are comfortable. It was the perfect house for 9 family members, and we could have fot many more. Grandma stayed downstairs so she did not have to climb stairs. This was perfect. The fire pit on the second floor was nice, and the location is amazing. It is a very short walk to The Village and the Marina. Great fishing right at the marina. We caught bass and catfish. A perfect place for our Big Bear vacation."

"We had a most amazing weekend at this Valley of The Moon villa. The property grounds are incredible: pathways lined up with beautiful plants and rustic benches and tables, expansive outdoor kitchen and dining area (very private as well), good size pool with an adjacent hot tub, and all with breathtaking panoramic views of Sonoma valley. "Beautiful property. Well stocked kitchen. The backyard is like your own private resort. The outside kitchen was nice and we used it.We used the Hot tub a lot. The fireplace was great place to chill out at night and chat. All that plus good mood lighting.
