After staying for five days, I encountered numerous issues and had a poor experience!!
First, the resort’s soundproofing is practically nonexistent!!!
On the first night, live music from Desire Bar played until 1 AM (this happens every night). Since my room was nearby, the constant booming made it impossible to rest. I had to change rooms THREE TIMES and didn’t settle in UNTIL AFTER 2 AM. Even in the new room, I could clearly hear people walking in the hallway and music from neighbouring rooms—all of which severely affected my sleep.
Second, the resort’’s timeshare presentations were extremely pushy!!
Starting from check-in, we were repeatedly urged to attend. Every morning at 9:15, we received calls from a staff member named Victor, and flyers were slipped under our door daily. This aggressive promotion completely ruined our vacation mood and experience!
Lastly, the hotel elevators were constantly malfunctioning. Sometimes they wouldn’t respond after pressing the buttons, other times they would go up when we pressed down or vice versa. Everyone using the elevators was confused, and I overheard several groups complaining about the same issue.
Regarding dining: The buffet restaurant had very limited options, and leftovers from breakfast often appeared at lunch. The service was inconsistent—on one occasion, no one attended to us throughout the entire meal.
Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in my three visits to Cancun, and I will definitely not return!
