"Great time on Lake Almanor. The house was great for access to the water and being able to keep the boat in the water. The bunk room downstairs was awesome for the teenagers. "

"Beautiful property! The house was just as described. Closest restaurant (20 min) is at Crater Lake all of the other restaurants are at least 30 min away but the house has a great kitchen. We loved being close to Crater Lake but not in the heart of it. Loved the country feel. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Great location for a visit to Lassen Park. Lovely view of the woods and stars and conveniently located off the main highway and within easy driving distance to Chester for groceries and restaurants. We loved the covered porch and grill and the adorable birds nests. The baby birds were super cute."

"This was a perfect stay for an overnight trip to Crater Lake. Very spacious, comfy beds, lots of amenities and very quiet neighborhood! Amy was very responsive to our questions and made the process quite easy. The house has a rustic vibe that matches the area but all furnishings are very appropriate and lends to the overall comfort and hominess of the property. Would definitely stay again when in the area! Great experience!"

"We really enjoyed the location being so close to downtown and easy freeway access. The property grounds are very private, butting up to a large greenspace and tall fencing. The home is spacious with modern appliances, comfortable beds and furniture, and plenty of kitchenware. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck. Drawbacks were freeway noise, but only outside. Train noise several times a day. Only one bathroom upstairs for 3 bedrooms and 2 downstairs with the master bedroom, but plenty...

"The pictures don't do justice to this property. The red carpet makes the pictures look dated, but the property is immaculate. The house is as equipped as they come and they are generous enough to provide firewood, charcoal, starters... And you can see that the property is made and maintained with lot of history and love. Its a gem"
