  • This absolutely dreamy lakefront/view property on picturesque Big Springs Road sleeps up to 15 guests. Take in the lake and cove views from the deck and beach, or take a sunset cruise on beautiful Lake Almanor. This home is recently remodeled and redesigned. It is bursting with room for everyone. It includes a wet bar, a large deck with BBQ grill, dock, mooring ball, and lots of outdoor space. Three paddle boards, kayaks and other water toys are also included. This property has everything you need to enjoy Lake Almanor in luxury, comfort and style. This is one of two homes that sit on this property; an upper home and a lower home. The upper home is the one listed on VRBO. The upper home sits at the top portion of this lakefront lot, and the other at the lower part of the lot. You are at lakes edge and on the beach in seconds after a short walk down the driveway and pavered steps. Beautiful Lake Almanor water levels can fluctuate each year based on the snow pack at higher elevations. Our dock is typically kept accessible by boat from early May to Mid-October.

Family vacation

We had such a great time at Lake Almanor! The house was perfect for our family and John was so responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was great! We will definitely be going back!

Great access to lake and dock. Close to golf course and nice restaurants. Sun heats up the house a bit from 3-6 pm so bring a fan

Our large family had a great time! Nice to have such great access to the beach and be abie to keep the boat right there. Kitchen on the small side. Beds were quite comfortable and the owner was very responsive when we had an issue with the tv. Would rent again!

LOVE this place.

Perfect get away for family’s or friends. It was far and beyond our expectations. Dined in all 3 nights and ate on the deck. Kayaked … water was great. Thank you John!

Winter stay

Lake Almanor does not disappoint!

Great location for anglers and families. Super easy access to lake and a great outdoor gas fire pit on the deck to share fishing stories. John and his wife were awesome host.

Family Vaca at Lake House

The house was well stocked, well decorated, and comfortably accommodated our large group. The property was very close to the beach and we had use of a private sandy beach during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would consider renting this property again.

Fabulous family getaway on the lake

The host was welcoming, and the house was wonderful. We also rented their lake pontoon boat, and all the grandchildren loved it. Highly recommended.

Really Cozy and Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay! Really cozy and inviting. This house is great for multiple families to share as each level has it's own bedroom and bathroom. Great location in a beautiful cove. The owners have a house on the same lot, so they are close by to help if anything comes up.

4 generations at the lake

We rented this property for a wedding celebration and had great grandparents, grandparents, parents and kids. The location at the lake was fantastic and it was also close to Bailey Creek golf course. Our only frustration was that the staircase to the basement was very difficult for older people and small children.

Great Family Vacation!

We had the best family trip here. The house was great and location right on the lake. They had a private beach and a lot of water toys for all ages. We were able to rent a pontoon boat a couple of miles away for one day. Great outdoor deck with a grill, fire pit and table. We highly recommend it - we had our whole family of 12 there!

Beachfront Property with comfortable accommodations.

Perfect location. Beachfront property, close to gas, store, golf course and restaurants The basement game room was perfect for the kids. Full bathrooms on all three floors was very nice for family. No issues with the home at all, just had to relax and have fun.

Great cabin and loca

We had a wonderful family reunion at this cabin. There was some noise and dust from construction on the first day only, but the owner resolved them immediately and the rest of the week was perfect. The lake access was good. We especially enjoyed the two kayaks and two paddle boards that were included!

Welcoming and wonderful

We love the slower pace and natural beauty of Lake Almanor and our stay in this neighborly cove did not disappoint. The owners were welcoming, responsive, and generous which made us feel more than comfortable sharing a lot, dock and lake access with them. Plenty of space for 2 families of 5 with room to spare. We enjoyed great meals from the local restaurants as well. We will be back!

Beautiful home and cove!

Large clean accommodating home for a big family. Comfortable beds and 3 full bathrooms; one on each level. The trek to the cove was a little steep. Great communication with the owner. Our family had a wonderful time making memories at Almanor during our stay!

Lake Almanor Rental Home

This place was excellent. John and Susan are awesome and made sure we had all we needed. The house has tons of nice touches, lots of dishes and silverware, plenty of towels & sheets for the many beds a great deck and an excellent barbecue. Having access to the Kayaks and paddle boards was very nice. We will definitely be back!!

Loved The House

This property was perfect for my family! We have 6 kids total and the basement area was perfect for them to play and sleep. John and Susan are very kind and generous. They left us a beautiful gift basket and were always willing to help when needed. All beds are extremely comfortable which is hard to find with Rentals. House was fully stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this property for a family getaway to the lake.

5 Star Rental All The Way!

We got lucky and were able to book this amazing home for the 4th of July weekend. It was a great location on the lake. The house was only a 10 minute drive to the quaint town of Chester. The pictures of the home do not do it justice. It is so cute and the kids loved the downstairs "bunk house". The views from the back porch were very pretty and being able to use the dock and play in the water was so much fun for us and the kids. We highly recommend this home.

Family Lake Vacation

The Lake House was perfect for oir big family. The location was perfect. Just a quick walk onto a sandy beach with water toys and a great dock. John was so accomodating and answered my questions with a quick reply. A welcome baskey was waiting for us with wine and lots of goodies which was so very nice. It was our first time at Lake Almanor and we fell in love with it. Will definitely be returning. Thank you John and Susan for a great time..Carolyn & Steve
