"Nice, comfortable B&B inn. We spent three nights at Bidwell House. My wife enjoyed our breakfasts more than I did. Our host, Eva, was informative and helpful with suggestions about what to do in the area (Lake Almenor & Mt. Lassen). Mt. Lassen was a great NP to visit - and we went to three different parts of the park on each of our three days based in Chester."

"We had a great one night stay. I got caught up in a wave down by the beach and was soaked from head to toe. The hosts insisted on washing and drying all of my clothes and left them by our room while we went and enjoyed the area. The room was very comfortable, great bed and wonderful hosts."

"I can’t say enough about this place. I usually always stay at high-end hotels and let me tell you something, these folks do it right!! We had an amazing meal that we cook on their barbecue grill. They were so accommodating from anything from olive oil to utensils even cutting boards and let me just tell you an amazing breakfast cook to order and again great host also impressed with their sheets, towels and bedding I did not want to leave, I even made a comment today adopt me. 😉"
