Location could not have been any better! Made it super easy to go to the beach and out to dinner. Communication with the owner was so easy, and she was great to work with. Would recommend and stay here again!

Excellent

This is our 5th time vacationing in the Santa Rosa beach area, and this was perhaps our favorite property. Proximity to the beach, the walking trail, restaurants, and the private pool made the stay so convenient.The house was as listed. No surprises. Christel was very responsive to my questions. Based on previous comments, I was concerned about how well the house would be stocked (I do ALOT of cooking), but it was adequate. We were there 4 days and didn’t run out of dish or laundry soap. 2 kitchen trash bags provided, which was just enough (although we usually bring a few of our own “just in case” supplies)Being able to walk home from the beach and hop in the pool was a game changer.Highly recommend 10/10

Great Location!

Great location! Steps to the beach, restaurants, creamery and a fun 3-4 mile trip to Seaside by bike or golf cart! We love Santa Rosa beach and have stayed in several homes in this area before. The house was nice. The private pool was great and parking was easy. A few things to note before booking. Bring toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, laundry pods, trash bags, etc. Our 6 night stay only included 2 trash bags.The kitchen had no dish rags or hand towels. The bathrooms had no washcloths. The listing shows it sleeps 14. It does note it only sleeps 12 at the bottom in the notes section. Our family of 11 was tight. There was no sectional or front porch rockers. This is a great location to all things, just be cautious of the above.

Great trip!

We loved the house! Perfect size pool for little ones. Close walk to beach access. Closest access too crowded with private beach signs but short bike ride around the corner to next access way less crowded!

Great location, read comments on the house.

Great location - steps from the beach, restaurants and icecream. But I do want to set expectations before booking… bring toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, hand soap, trash bags, etc. They had enough to last us 1/2 day or about 2 of each which was a bummer since we all flew in and we didn’t anticipate having to pickup so many household items since it was only 3 nights. There were ant hills all over the backyard and we found water bugs in the house so we also had to pick up ant/spider repellent. This is a great, cost effective option for the proximity to the beach, but I’d be cautious of the above.

Awesome location

The location is what made this vacation perfect! It was practically next door to the Creamery & a very short walk to the beach. We got married on Blue Mountain beach, so it was extremely convenient to be so close to the beach. The pool was great. My only complaint is there was no ice maker, no ice trays, and no cleaning supplies such as a broom or vacuum. But we would definitely stay there again.

Great House!

The property was in a great location and property management was quick to respond to any questions. Check in and check out was easy. We enjoyed our week at the beach and really enjoyed the pool at the house. We will be back!

Wonderful family getaway!

We loved this property! The house was very comfortable and the pool in the back yard was fantastic. A short walk to the beach was awesome, because parking around the beach is a headache. Love the home, will definitely stay there again. The property manager is top notch as well!

Great location - easy to get to beach!

Loved the location. Easy walk to beach with chairs and wagon provided at house. Backyard pool was perfect setting with comfortable lounge chairs.

PERFECT BEACH GETAWAY

Christel by far was the perfect property host. She was always available with any questions that needed answered. She is reliable, patient and efficient. She also found us a place in one day for an over night stay we needed, in addition to the week we spent at this home. Christel gets 10 stars! The property was perfect with it's 3 bedrooms, spacious living room and dinning room. The home also had 3 separate bathrooms which is a must when vacationing with more then 2 people. We had family drop by to visit who lived in the area and the pool was a hit! The home and Christel are very recommended.

Steps away from the beach

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 7 year anniversary here. The pool was a great time with kids and allowed the kids to play until they fell asleep. The house is walking distance from the beach, restaurants, and a walking/running/bike trail. Overall it was in a great location and we couldn't have asked for anything else.

The perfect getaway

We rented this beautiful property for 6 days and we wanted to stay longer. The property is just as advertised. The beach and great restaurants are just a short walk away. We will be coming back.

Nice location

This was our second time to Destin area. The first time we had to drive to the beach and this time, I wanted the ability to walk. This location is very nice. 1/4 mile or less from public beach access. An ice cream store and coffee shop within 100 yards. A quiet street and a grocery with 3-4 miles. sea Side was 4 miles away. It was a nice combo between easy access to beach and quiet. The pool in the back was a nice bonus. The house was nice. Good kitchen, living room, two bedrooms upstairs and 1 down. Laundry and three bathrooms. It was good for the 6 of us. It would work well for a family with 5 kids, 3 couples, or three families with little kids. The kitchen was well equipped. The private pool was great. Parking and access was easy. The bathrooms were not well equipped. Towels and wash clothes were stocked lightly. Bring your own paper towels, TP, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent and beach towels. The advertisement showed a second floor deck but it was locked and not available to us. When we inquired, we were told it was locked due to liability issues. I feel that was misleading. We lacked propane for the gas grill but the host rectified that. They communications regarding that was not good. We would expect s host to keep us better informed. The ad said there were bikes. There was one. The host instructed us to get them from other properties they had. There was no broom.

Spacious House with great pool and locaion

House had tons of sleeping options, very clean and nice furnishings, wonderful back yard with beautiful pool, plenty of room for everyone, and best of all only steps from the beach. Owners were responsive and helpful.

Wonderful location and space

This house is perfectly located next to Blue Mountain Creamery and down the street from Cowgirl Kitchen! Two of our most favorites! Very short walk to beach and the pool was wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay

Fabulous location! Super close to the beach, ice cream shop, and Red Fish Taco. Pool was wonderful! House is cozy, the kids enjoyed the bunk room and having their own television. The rental company did a great job responding to our questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Inaccurate description

House was nicely located but was missing a lot of key items. First of all there are no curtains to cover front glass doors in the evening…I hope you don’t mind pedestrians watch you sleep. The house can only comfortably sleep a max of 12 people not 14 so plan accordingly. Biggest thing is the pool and pool area is not lit. If you plan to enjoy the pool in the evening you can’t. This completely ruined my experience of this house. Also the deck in the backyard is non existing….I was mislead.
