We have stayed at many properties, and I have never felt the need to leave a negative review, until now. The first day of our stay we discovered that we had no hot water. I immediately called Jennifer, the house manager, and luckily we had men with us who could figure out how to re-start the hot water heater. Jennifer advised that it was brand new and didn't know why it wasn't working. She advised us to re-start it if it went out again. It went out EVERY SINGLE DAY of our stay. Between my husband and brother in law, they had to re-light the pilot and restart the hot water heater every day. I did advise Jennifer of this by calling her three more times and she said a new one was coming on Saturday, the day we were leaving. This should have been remedied immediately. We also had issues with heat for the hot tub. When you pay an additional 403.00 for pool and hot tub heat for one week, you expect heat. Jennifer had us drain and re-fill the hot tub. Again, we don't mind helping out but we were on vacation, and shouldn't have been required to take care of these things. Jennifer finally came to the house and re-set the hot tub heat on Wednesday so it worked for us for three days. The house itself is pretty but the essentials were pretty skimpy.
