I paid a significant amount of money expecting a luxury home suitable for my family visit, but what we experienced was completely unacceptable. The property was delivered in a condition that was unsafe, unsanitary, and unfit for occupancy.When we arrived at 4:00 p.m.—the exact check-in time stated by the owner—the cleaning crew was still inside. We were told we could not access the home before 4:00, but it wasn’t ready until an hour later. That first night, every toilet overflowed and the kitchen sink was clogged. A plumber had to come the next day, disrupting our plans and creating an embarrassing, unsanitary situation.On Friday morning, the pool service arrived at 9:00 a.m. and told us the pool could not be used for at least three hours due to chemical treatment, leaving us unable to use one of the main amenities for much of the day. The hot tub cover was filthy, covered with mold, and literally falling apart.The worst issue came on Saturday, when water started leaking from a large hole in the living room ceiling—covered only with plastic and duct tape. The water soaked the carpet and sofa. I notified the owner immediately, but no one ever came to fix it.Adding to the problems, twelve garbage bags from prior guests were left at the entrance the entire weekend, attracting flies and creating a terrible odor.I have photos documenting all of these issues. I would never stay here again and strongly urge VRBO to review this listing to protect future guests.
