Thank you Robin ! I am sorry about the AC, I changed to a NEST thermostat and I confess that the installer programmed it and I totally disagree ! So I am studying ( its like going to college) to re program it .. or maybe I will just call them !! :-i do ask all of my guests to let me know what they need, want, require and I am just a text away …. The Miami International Airport is right on the center of the city so one way or another you are going to get the noise of airplanes …. But yes, we have a beautiful old house with the original windows (even some of the glass is old) and therefore less insulated than in properties with hurricane windows:-) Thank you Dan, once again! Thank you Bill it was a delight to have you stay at the house and on top of it all I learned a ton from you. Its obvious you are a good professor. You remind me of one teacher of mine when I was in law school.. his history classes were legendary… we fought tooth and nail to get a spot. The university kept giving him larger and larger rooms and more space until he got the largest auditorium- huge - and even then, it was standing room only. So yes, thank you, your lessons will be remembered :-)

Hot, a la carte breakfast would push us into another lodging category one in which prices would have to change. We would rather focus our services on making sure our guests get acquainted with the city, its entertainment, its varied food and points of interest. Our breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, honey and biscuits is a balanced and healthy meal to help our guests get started in their exploration and enjoyment of the area. We do have a list of places which offer full breakfast - some of them all day long- for any guest who prefers to take their meal elsewhere. It was a pleasure to host you and we appreciate your visit.

Rainier and his wife were the perfect guests: charming, educated,polite, respectful and enthusiastic. I loved having them stay at the B & B and I highly recommend them.

Carol thank you for your review. I know it takes time and effort and I appreciate it. As for the hot room, we encourage our guests to communicate anything they might find necessary or important or any requests you might have. Unfortunately, our cut off time for check-in is 9 PM and your arrival time was close to midnight which made having a dialogue a bit difficult. Nevertheless, we are a B& B and we are always, at any time, available for our guests. Adjusting the temperature to suit you was a very easy fix and a simple call or text would have solved the issue. Thank you again for staying at the house and we are sorry your experience was not to your expectations.

Our beautiful 1920's house has central Air Condition and vents in every room. In addition, we have fans in all rooms for our guests' comfort. Photographs of the rooms and house from every angle can be found in our HomeAway/VRBO page where the layout of the house and the rooms are clearly established. Our objective is to provide service and value to our guests and we welcome any suggestions or questions in a timely manner so we can immediately take care of the issues.
