We have stayed in Key West many times, in both hotels and in rented homes and this home, is BY FAR the best location!We went to watch the sunset every night and walked to Southernmost most mornings to watch it rise. Restaurants, shops and our favorite book store, were all within an easy walk.We took an Uber to and from the airport and to the beach (because we were carrying stuff) and never missed having a car.Ubers arrived in literally minutes .We cooked a few nights and were happy to find everything we needed in the house or at Faustos (local supermarket within a quick walk).We were there for the winter solstice and there was still some sun in the yard and on the balcony.The community pool is small and felt crowded when 3 families were all there at once but it was OK and we preferred the beach anyway. I would highly recommend this home for singles, couples or even 2 couples. There were 3 of us and it was more than large enough!

Property manager Christy was fast to reply to all of our needs and questions. Air conditioning quit working one day while we were out and she had a repair man at the house in less than 1/2 hour. Air was back up and running approximately 1 hour after making contact with her. Everything was perfect, but remember to bring your shampoo and conditioner and soap for showering. Plenty of towels, bed sheets and beach towels. Loads of extra pillows and blankets. Great location nicely kept property and quiet neighborhood.

Pros and Cons of property but great location!

Truman Annex location was great! Townhouse was nicely furnished and decorated. Clean but floors were not clean. Our feet were black on the bottom after just short time of arriving and walking around inside. But lots more supplies for us than past VRBO rentals. Front porch had nice wicker seating for 4 people. Side deck/porch area was a mess with bird droppings and tree droppings; very disappointing. We never used that area. Two beach chairs were very old and broken. But the location is perfect.

Great vacation!

We had a great few days in Key West at this lovely little townhome! It would have been ideal for our family if the 3rd floor bedroom had a couple of sets of bunk beds instead of having 2 kids share a bed and one in the main living space but certainly everyone was comfortable enough. Otherwise it was perfect - great location, clean, well maintained, and very nice way to escape the weather in the northeast. I especially love the jasmine blooming along the fence!

Vacation with my young adult kids.

We loved this property!!!Close to Fort Zachery which was the prettiest beach in Key West. Pool was 92 degrees and at times all to ourselves. Walking distance to Duval and Mallory square with the elegance of a quiet gated manicured neighborhood. Property was decorated in such a comfortable welcoming way.. Patio with gass grill to cook our fresh seafood catch. Purple brand mattress on the bed was very comfortable. Bidet toilet. Southern front porch with wicker chairs to enjoy our morning coffee.

Enjoyable stay & EXCEPTIONAL location!

I have to start by saying the community of the property location is fantastic. It is literally a 5-7 min golf cart ride to every thing we wanted to do the entire week! Check in was seamless, an extremely early check in time was granted, & communication was on point when it was needed. I had issues with the VRBO APP & did not receive the info but the host was great.In relating it to me when asked. This was our first trip to KeyWest & we will be back! Only negatives which are no fault to the host is the pool is very subpar for the location, construction was happening daily & 2-3 times a day we would be rerouted to alternant entry gates & detours which was frustrating. The community is beyond beautiful & extremely safe as we are not always use to that when vacationing. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay at this beautiful corner unit! Spacious back patio was great for morning coffee..walking distance to everything and the pool was great too! Easy communication with owners and will definitely stay again when visiting Key West!

Foundry stay

This area has always been our home away from home. Christy, the property was immaculate! Everything we needed was there! The extra linens and beach towels were a welcome site. The deck was amazing and we spent a few nights out there. It was an extraordinary stay!

2024 Key West Vacation.

We just returned from a great week in KW with our friends. The property is in an ideal location within a quiet neighborhood and only minutes walking distance of both Duval St and the waterfront as well as a grocery store, so we didn't need a rental car. The unit is a nice size for 4 adults and well decorated and maintained and matched what we saw on the website. Although we didn't cook much, the kitchen was well stocked. The pool for The Foundry was a little on the small size but that didn't keep us from getting wet and cooling off. The host was very responsive to emails, typically responding within minutes. Overall I'd rate the property and host as A+.

Great vacation

The place is amazing. Location is close to beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants and nightlife. Owner is quick to respond. Beds are comfortable and townhouse layout was perfect for our family. Highly recommended and would stay again when we visit Key West.

Convenient Location and very clean

We had a wonderful stay at the townhouse in the Truman Annex recently. The accommodations were immaculate, the location was incredibly convenient, and the owner's responsiveness to any questions we had was truly exceptional. Peaceful retreat on a "party island"

We went to Key West for a spring break get-away. This place was perfect for providing a blend of peacefulness with some Key West fun. It is in a beautiful, quiet, gated community that is a mere couple blocks away from the restaurants and bars of Key West. The property was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, and the communication with the host was very prompt. It is very close to a park with a parcours path for a morning workout, and a short hike or bike ride to a beach. Note that it is three levels, so you get your stair workout in if you stay in the top-floor bedroom. But it posed no problems for us. And with so limited parking on the island, it is wonderful to have an assigned parking spot. When we decide to return to Key West, I'll look for this property first.

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and location to DuVal Street and the beaches. Place was very clean and wonderfully quiet. Pots and Pans could be updated. Christy and Mike were extremely responsive to any questions we had. Thanks for a great stay!
