"Extremely glad that we chose this hotel on this trip to Penang. Room was very nice clean and with lovely sea view. All the staff especially at the club were extremely nice, warm, helpful and very friendly thus made our stay welcoming. There is one staff in particular that stands out is Mr Samson from the club lounge. Thank you. Breakfast and cocktail food and drinks were very good clean and very well presented. "

"Our arrival was good given top floor level 8 so fair to good views of the sea ( paid for extra when booking the ticket price) The hotel is ‘mature’ lets say. Seasoned not old.. it requires some updating but not to lose its heritage feel. Rooms smaller than expected but has most modern features you need. Perhaps a duplicate of usb or c-2-c ports beside both sides of the bed would be useful for couples having similar technology that requires charging! Food was good - we chose b&b as local food is...

"This Hotel has an excellent service and comfortable rooms. It is not far from the blue House in Penang island. We visited Georgetown walking from the place. "

"We stayed for 4 days enjoying the kind and thoughtful hospitality provided by Brendan Hamid and Hamada. The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Penang Hill...

"Excelente en todo sentido. A pesar de ser un edificio que se nota que tiene sus años esta bien mantenido. Destaco la atención del personal, TODOS son extremadamente amables, un placer tratar con ellos. El desayuno es bueno, variado y todo rico en general. El área de la piscina super limpia, muchas reposeras. Lo único en contra la playa, no es muy bonita, pero si no vas exclusivamente a hacer playa esta bien. En resumen, diría que es una muy buena relación calidad-precio."

"rooms were good & spacious, although bathroom was a little small. the shaving mirror was hanging off the wall which make it hard to use. the room was quite and sleeping was easy. nice pool area with padded loungers. despite the size of the hotel we allways managed to get somewhere to lounge."

"The staff at Cheong Fatt Tze and The Qing Suites are exceptional and kind. The property is very well kept and the breakfast was exceptional - I recommend the Nasi Ulam! The Manager kindly helped us with our bags into our Grab on departure. Thank you for a great stay!"
