We had four adults, each of whom had their own room and their own bed—usually oversized—with several beds to spare and more comfy common areas than we could fully take advantage of. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I chose the house because it was on the river and close to Kilmarnock. It was a comfortable house with an antique home vibe. It had all the modern conveniences and like brand new washer and dryer, dishwashing machine, and central air conditioning. The best part was the solitude; pin-drop quiet mornings and evenings."

"Key Cottage was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were standout fabulous - modern, great water pressure, and spacious. The house is well stocked with just about anything you can imagine needing. We loved the location, on a quiet corner in the cute village of Irvington with so much to walk to and do. The only problem we had was getting into the lockbox when we arrived, but they arranged for someone to run down and help us out. "

"We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is has everything you need and it works. The yard and amenities are top notch. If you enjoy bird watching, sit in the back yard and take in the bird activity...
