Peaceful, cosy cabin

We had a really enjoyable stay in Upper Burringbar, the cabin was cosy and private in such a tranquil setting. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful family getaway and we really enjoyed exploring the creek and forest nearby.

Worth A Visit

A beautifully tranquil setting. Very private. Spent a lovely day sightseeing in the Tweed Valley, lots of quirky little places to stop. Loved Tyalgum’s Flutterbies cafe in particular.

Everything we were looking for

What a lovely cabin and surrounds. We found everything to be exactly what we were looking for. The creek was more than just a little stream so we were actually able to get in and take a little dip. The kids loved it. The outdoor bathroom spaces are beautiful. The cabin has insect screens so you can really open up and let the breeze through. We had a really nice stay.

Absolutely Stunning

Beautiful little cabin that feels completely isolated even though it’s only a short drive from town. It was a great escape with no phone service, no TV, just the sound of the surrounding rainforest and running creek. The cabin is new yet rustic and comfortable with some modern touches and the outdoor shower is amazing. Jessie was lovely and accommodating. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely weekend away in the hinterland

The cabin was absolute perfection providing a wonderful retreat away from the busyness of life. A chance to switch off, enjoy a fire, the outdoor shower (which is devine!) and amazing surroundings. I would 110% return! Thank you Jessie ☺️

Stayed at this amazing property this weekend- wonderful property manager communicated very well, place was clean and all needs were met. Enjoyed listening to all of the life within the trees that surround and watching the birds fly around. Thank you Jessie!

Perfect hideaway in delightful setting

We loved the beautiful bush garden serenaded by birds and circled by the softly babbling creek. Cabin is very private, peaceful and self-contained in beautiful rustic taste, all that one needs for a getaway from the busyness of life! The outdoor shower is a wonderful experience, nestled discretely adjacent to the cabin and affording wonderful rainforest garden views. It was refreshing to literally 'switch off' from the world and enjoy non-electronic pleasures such as reading and leisurely cups of tea and cake (no mobile reception). Thank you Jessie for being such a lovely host and sharing your piece of paradise, with best wishes :)

Restful in the rainforest

This ample cabin is located on an excellent property surrounded by a lush rainforest and a lovely creek. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating, and everything we needed was provided for. Well worth visiting the area just for this.

The ultimate nature retreat

This is the perfect getaway to escape technology and return to nature. The house itself has the most beautiful interior and is very cosy. Also, the outdoor shower was my favourite feature! Couldn't recommend staying here more!

Beautiful Bush Stay

Lovely cozy picturesque cabin on edge of native bush & charming creek bend. Expansive grassy area between cabin & bush ……just magic!! Sunshine or rain this property is a pleasure to experience … Rest, Relax, walk, photos, great variety of stunning trees, mosses, fungi, ferns, rocks, birds, dancing leaves, dewdrops, glistening rain drops, beautiful & colourful flower garden full of hidden rewards when explored, birdlife, butterflies, dragonflies….etc🙏 Perfect spot to unwind & appreciate all that we have! No phone or internet service is such a bonus!! Nearby little village Burringbar has a grocer, bottle shop, bank, antiques real estate etc & the fabulous Elwood cafe you must visit (great coffee & food). If it’s a bush break within easy drive to coast or towns this is a must👌

Tranquil solitude surrounded by natural beauty

I love this cabain. this was my second visit I and would love to go back again! The beauty of the rianforest.trees and creek is so stunning. I love the layout and design of the furniture and the lovely modern kitchen. I love the outdoor hot shower. I have recomended this place to my friends who have also since, stayed there and loved it! Its a hidden gem!

For anyone wanting to spend time in a beautiful cabin in an idyllic setting, this is the place.

I had a wonderful time in the cabin. The cabin is clean, well designed and set in stunning surroundings. A creek bends around the edge of the forest and at night the stars are thick. Jesse is a lovely host and her care for the property shows. I’ll be going back!

An oasis and a gift

We couldn’t believe just how beautiful and perfect an oasis this was. The photos are beautiful, but they pale in comparison when you get a feel for the place in real life. A creek loops around the cleaning, beautiful plants are everywhere you look, and you can happily sit and pass the hours catching glimpses of the rare bird and listening to the breeze flow through the trees. The only thing that would have made it even better would be a day bed on the porch to relax and take in the scenery there. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything you need to make a good meal. There’s plenty of logs around to light the fire and sit and enjoy a wine. We didn’t want to leave!
