This property is managed by a rental company, not a homeowner, which makes the customer service less personalized. The listing claims to allow gatherings, but the day before check-in we were told there is a strict no-party policy—very misleading. We were informed the home has several surveillance cameras and someone monitors the home 24/7 and violations can lead to eviction with no refund, creating pressure during the stay.The home is older, clean, but outdated for the price. It “sleeps 12,” but mostly with bunk beds and sleeper sofas—not ideal for adults. The kitchen has minimal necessities, the living room is too small for a full group, and the pool, while nice, has peeling surfaces and left a white residue on our skin. The bar appeared to have termite damage.One bedroom was hot and muggy, likely near the garage. Only four cars are allowed, which is limiting for large groups. The smart lock battery died, leaving us stranded outside at night. The backup key was in an unlit area, and no new code was provided, causing ongoing inconvenience.We also encountered ants, spiders, and geckos indoors. Water pressure and temperature were inconsistent—showers went cold. While the photos match the listing, the home feels smaller and older in person. The communication with this company was unsettling and uncomfortable. After being misled and the conversation making me uncomfortable I asked for a refund and was denied. I pray your experience will be better than mine.
