"We were looking for a quiet cabin with mountain views and a hot tub that wasn’t toooooo remote and that’s exactly what this is. Property is surrounded by other houses but we only saw one other person the entire time (and one bear minding his own business walking down the street). Check-in and out were low stress and easy. "The information about the internet connection provided by Vrbo was incorrect. Fortunately, there was a sheet of paper in the cabin with correct information. The bed was very soft--so soft that it was hard to even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. The access information provided by Vrbo was incorrect--there was no place to enter the access code. Fortunately, the cabin was unlocked and there were keys on the kitchen counter. It is a delightful little cabin which served us well."

"This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm...

"The view from this cozy cabin was so beautiful. We could eat breakfast out on the covered deck even in the rain. Everything one needs in a kitchen was there, good cookware and cooktop. Cozy blankets helped on cool nights. Highly rrecommend."
