The house is roomy an furnished nicely. However, there were issues with water pressure and hot water.Also, the home was dirty - floors and countertops especially. I wasnt aware we had to unload a full dishwasher first, but we did.There were cockroaches in the keurig... where you place your k-cup and in th e water tank. WE DID NOT USE! WE WASHED EVETYTHING BY HAND PRIOR TO USING- had to purchase dish soap 1st.Had to call 1st thing n send pics of a broken vanity doirs in the upstairs bedroom bathroom.The property could be maintained a bit better.

We used this time as a family gathering from a few locations. The house location was perfect. The amenities at the house were nice, with the hot tub, fire pit and porches. Check-in/out was easy and we could pop over to Unicoi within minutes and downtown Helen within 10. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars was for simple fixes that just weren't done. Although the house seemed clean at first glance, we are pretty sure it hasn't been dusted in a long time. The lighting was covered with a good layer of dust, and the wine class holder in the kitchen dropped small balls of dust into the food we had laid out on the island. Nasty! Behind the piano and strung from chandeliers were lines of spider webs. As one of us was about to get into the shower upstairs, we noticed the shower pull didn't work. How inconvenient! When we reached out to the rental company, they said that they knew about it from the previous renters and it needed to be fixed. Why wasn't it fixed before we rented it? The home is great for families, but take your own soap! Each bathroom was supplied with one makeup remover pad. We had to go into town to buy soap for the kitchen and bathrooms. Please consider upping the quality of hand towels in this home. We had 2 paper-thin towels that were not absorbent. When paying this much, it would be nice to have decent hand towels (easy, cheap fix). We prepped food one night during our stay and had to wash the pans prior to cooking. Very nice home, cleanliness was average.

Beautiful home. Close to town. Big hot tub. Propane fire pit was nice. Balcony on every room which was very nice. Bathroom in every bedroom very nice&convenient. The light above the hot tub was out. The piano was out of tune-we are a piano playing family so this kinda sucked. Some of the tvs are outdated. We couldn't get the tv in the downstairs bedroom to work. The rug in the kitchen&under the sofa table are dirty&discolored. There are no dressers in the bedrooms for clothes. There were lots of cobwebs. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty-like dusty. The shower curtain liners needed to be replaced. The showers in the upstairs bathrooms need some attention-the handles weren't working for the shower part. In one bathroom it was very loose&about to fall off. There was a pair of dirty underwear left in the dryer from the previous guest. We found a fake eyelash on the floor by the pool table. The balcony railing was broke-the one where the fire pit is and could cause a potential fall. The silver wear in the drawers were dirty as well. You can also hear the toilets flush in the downstairs bedroom-sounds like its coming down the wall-it's not but just pointing this out if you are a light sleeper. The unit outside the downstairs bedroom is also right outside the window by the bed and very loud if you are a light sleeper like me. So overall for the price I wasn't impressed. If it was cleaner and the showers worked properly I wouldn't say it was too bad.

The home is absolutely beautiful. All if the special lighting sets, inside and out, is a wonderful mood setter as well. The hot tub was great during the cool evenings.Everyone enjoyed having their own suite and the pool table was a plus.

The house is absolutely Beautiful. Everything you need to include a regular coffee pot and a Kerig. The 3 separate suites was PERFECT for our group. We had deer in the morning come right up to the fire pit. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Loved our stay at Soaring Eagle. My family and I had a great experience. The hosts were very helpful and had great service. The home is a beautiful mountain cabin, tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with amazing view of the mountains. It’s a great size and has all amenities you may need. It’s short drive from downtown, Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls.

We loved the home Compliments to the owners. However, I would recommend you replace the beds. They are obviously very old and for the amount of money people are paying you need to upgrade the beds. Also, the hot tub had a green tint when we got there and smelled. Took four days to get it cleaned. The reason it took so long is because Vacasa did not respond to my calls. Finally, I found the phone number of the property manager who acted swiftly. We still would not use it. The smell still lingered. Could be attributed to an improper covering. Thank You

Overall the stay was amazing! Beautiful home, exactly as in the pictures but even more spacious! Large bedrooms and baths allow for families with little ones. Beds were comfortable and linen smelled great and fresh! Bathroom/tubs could use a little more detailed cleaning, but overall home was clean and homey! Ran out of gas on Dec 31st, but quickly got replacements on the 1st. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery-but no spices or cleaning products. Big suggestion would be to stock it better with essentials (soap/shower gel, shampoo, dish soap, toilet paper-as we got bare minimum for a 5 night stay! Worst part was having to take the trash daily to a dump site about 2 Miles away in your own car which is ridiculous…especially with $800+ in service/utilities fees NOT good! Overall we enjoyed our stay and it’s a lovely home! Thanks

This is a really nice property. My children said that it was the nicest place at which we’ve ever stayed. Very clean. Very comfortable. Spacious. All of the furnishings seem to be relatively new. The pool table was a nice addition. 5-10 minutes to Helen.

This cabin was everything expected and then some. Beautiful, just as pictured. Everything worked will and kitchen stocked nicely. Hot tub was clean and was perfect for relaxing with the beautiful mountain views. Morning sun and evening sunsets were gorgeous. Very picturesque. Only one thing that could have made the stay nicer would have been able to turn heat up a tad. It got very chilly at night.

This property is as advertised and beautiful. We thought the location was great and loved having 3 king beds. We had an easy check in and the proximity to Helen was perfect. We used the grill nightly, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. The view from the back is stunning. However, after staying in quite a few VRBO properties, there were some things lacking that were surprising given the cost. We loved the pool table, but there weren't any other games/activites for us like puzzles, playing cards, board games, etc. There were two "corn hole" boards but no bean bags to actually play them. There were relatively few towels given the amount of bathrooms and the hot tub. Other properties I have stayed at had towels just for the hot tub. The downstairs king bed was very uncomfortable and loud. Every time someone gets out of it, it creaks. You aren't allowed to use the fireplace inside. We were given the bare minimum for dishwasher pods and laundry pods (1 per day). We couldn't find a lighter for the fire pit so had to purchase one, in addition to the wood. Lastly, there is no trash service. I would not have expected to have to put bags of our trash in our cars and drive them a couple miles down the road to the Vacasa trash dump. Again, given the cost of this place with fees, etc, I would have expected this would be taken care of. There is clearly a trash service in the neighborhood as we saw others with trash cans out.

This beautiful home is located within minutes of downtown Helen and is near several outdoor adventures! We enjoyed the Georgia Mountain Coaster, mini-golf, zip lining, and three different hiking trails (Ana Ruby Falls, Duke’s Creek, and Raven’s Cliff Trail). There are several great restaurants in Helen and local artists have their work on display. We are planning to return for for more adventures next year!
