Rented this property for an annual girls trip with five women. While this home has many positives such as its size, location to downtown and tranquility, there were several negatives unfortunately to our stay. Upon entering the house, my friends and I immediately noticed the overwhelming musty smell. That smell and the moisture issue were quite overwhelming especially for those who had breathing issues and allergies. The home needs a serious deep clean! Dirty upholstery on the sofa, stained carpets, dead bugs in windows/on counter tops, cob webs, soiled and stained bedding/quilts and towels/washcloths that did not appear to be clean or were stained, The property management did reach out to check on our stay via email and text, however, my friends and I were on our annual girls weekend trip and we did not want to spend our time waiting on housekeeping. We had a full day of activities planned and I chose to not contact them in regards to our concerns. My opinion is those things should ALREADY be taken care of and checked prior to a guest’s arrival! No one wants to be seeing about things such as the cleanliness of a property after they have arrived and are ready to enjoy their time away! I did let the company know a few of my concerns when I called to report we were checking out. I would very much love to give this home more stars but sadly it just did NOT earn them. This place could easily be top notch with some TLC and attention.
