Great place

This townhouse was perfect for our long weekend getaway. We wanted to stay close to downtown Helen and Oktoberfest but not directly in town. Perfect location if that’s what you desire, about a 20 minute walk to the edge of town. The house was clean and perfect size for 6 people (3.couples).

Amazing Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in the townhouse! It was overall clean, location and parking was great. Would have appreciated more hand towels in the bathrooms and more kitchen towels. The grill wasn’t clean enough for us to use. The views, balconies, and location was amazing, would stay again

The condo was a great place to stay while visiting Helen and the surrounding area. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river and the resident groundhog. The gameroom with a pool table was a welcome addition. Our only issue was the single roll of paper towels and the single roll of tp for each bathroom. That might be OK for a 1 or 2 night stay, but not for a 4 night stay by 4 adults. Those supplies were also cheap, one ply tp and equally listless paper towels. The owner should reconsider this policy and the quality of the supplies being provided.

We absolutely loved the view and hot tub! The home was spacious and cozy. We couldn’t access the dumpster for trash disposal but we were able to get in contact with a representative immediately to help with that concern. I love that there was a TV in every room!!

Nice quiet place to stay

Good location; quiet; easy to get to; good parking. Lots of room to spread out. Balconies overlooked a little river. Fire place and pool table were fun. In the summer, this place would not be as quiet. Too close to the water park.

Best experience in Helen

Way down yonder exceeded our expectations. It was clean, beautifully decorated and all of the furniture was extremely comfortable. The location was great as it was close enough to everything in town but far enough away to feel private. We had a wonderful time during our stay and will definitely book this property for our next stay!

Great Condo

The condo was perfect for our needs. It was wonderful having three separate bedrooms with king beds and attached bathrooms. The location was great for downtown Helen. It was so relaxing sitting on the deck overlooking the flowing water.

Great time. 6 adults - had our own rooms and bathrooms with another half bath on the main floor. A teeny disappointed that not all bedrooms had a balcony overlooking the river but there were 3 and we ended up on the one on the main floor most of the time. The large dining table was great for cards and projects and dining!!

3-level Townhouse

This property is a 3-level townhouse about ¾ - 1 mile to town center. It is not ideal for families with toddlers as you have 2 sets of stairs and all 3 levels have exit doors on to balconies. The layout is more designed for adult couples or families with teens. The townhouse itself is nicely furnished but needs some repairs. (Which I reported to the property manager) Hopefully they take care of the issues. The positive side is Helen is a perfect location as a home base for daily trips out to explore other areas after you have had your fill of the quaint little village.

Great Christmas visit

We came for a girls trip for a birthday and to see Helen at Christmas. We were able to shop and see the parade. We enjoyed the lights at night and spent the evening laughing and enjoying the hot tub and listening to the river. Picture are accurate and very enjoyable house.

Great stay for couples

This property was just as advertised. Very clean and perfect for the 3-couples in our group. Not exactly walking distance from downtown (25min walk) but a very short drive. Hot tub, pool table, fire pit…all the amenities you need for a great mountain trip. The three king bedrooms each with a private bath, made us wish we were staying longer than just a weekend! Don’t hesitate, go ahead and book it!!!

Lovely townhome

We enjoyed our stay. Loved having the 3 king bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. Great location. Convenient parking. Our only issue was we lost hot water on our last night/day. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
