My family and I spent a week in Sarasota area on vacation to relax, sight see, and soak up the warm weather. Although the house is not meant to be the highlight of the trip, it did leave us feeling disappointed. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of this home was subpar at best. The bathroom, showers, kitchen and outdoor areas all needed some TlC. While it advertises a spa and pool, neither have a working heater, which was disappointing for all. The owner did reach out about this prior to our arrival, but at this point, it was too late to make other accommodations. She informed us others used the pool in Jan/feb and were fine so we figured in March it would be okay, but it was not. The spa kept draining and not refilling as well. The house was very easy to get to and the checking process was smooth and flexible. Overall, for the amount of money we paid to stay here, I do think we could have found a much better option to fit our needs.
