Loved the Mojito House

The house felt really clean as soon as we walked in. My fiancé and I are both immune compromised- so it was essential for our health. It’s a great house and the pool made it so easy for our family since we couldn’t get to the beach a couple of days. The walk to the ocean was not so bad, but the walk back, up Hilltop seem, seemed twice as long. A great family home!

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at the Mojito House. The location was awesome! It was only a short walk to the beach and close to grocery stores and many restaurants. The kids loved having a pool to play around in after hitting the beach. Also, the house was very clean and provided all of the amenities we needed for a perfect week at the beach! I would highly recommend this house if your looking for a place in a more quiet, family friendly area.

Awesome Family Vacation

Everything was excellent, from booking, arriving, staying there and checking out. The house was very clean and very spacious. We were a group of 9 adults and 2 kids under 5 and we absolutely loved everything about the house. It has great beach access, the pool was great! It’s close to many restaurants although the drive to Destin was far but we knew that when we booked but over all this is an excellent vacation home!

Mojito house

The stay was perfect! We will be renting again next year at this place. The only thing was we never got the code to get the spare out of the lock box on the side of the house. So it was kind of a pain to constantly type in the long code on the key pad for everyone.

We had a great time

The house was great! We truly enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was the ants they were everywhere and we couldn’t spray a lot because we had babies with us. Once that issue is resolved this will be an awesome place

Perfect beach home for family gathering

The first thing I noticed was the beachy exterior of the home, the color and grand poarches, which we used often for morning coffee or viewing sunsets. The interior was open and spacious with plenty of room for a family gathering over the Thanksgiving holiday week. The kitchen is adequately furnished with all one needs to entertain. We loved gathering around the pool and fire pit on the awesome back yard deck. The outdoor furniture and umbrellas are top of the line. The pool was not heated and much to cold to swim in. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We enjoyed walking to Stinky's and having lunch on the porch. The home was clean, well appointed with plenty of linens, blankets and toiletries. Beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is family friendly and quite. We would like to return here next year.

Dirty and still has a bug problem

This house could be amazing. It's a management problem. There are still bugs, we found several every day. Even after calling to report it not one person returned my call or came to spray for bugs. The outside trash can was full when we arrived (and still is with trash stacked around it since no one has picked it up) the dishwasher was full of dishes, a pile of clean towels was left in a bedroom and the upstairs bunk bed pillows were left lying in the floor. There are no instructions about the pool, fire pit or how to unlock the bicycles. This has been a disappointment. I would only rent this house again if it were under new management. Since we found a gal of bug spray I doubt they are having it professionally treated by a pest control company...or there wouldn't still be bugs. We fought the bug problem and enjoyed our trip but I wouldn't recommend this house.
