Underwhelming. We primarily chose this hotel because they accommodated our two dogs…and that was the only plus. Unfortunately the place is very run down. The frame of the sofa/bed in our room was broken. There was nothing more than bright overhead lights in the room which was harsh after the sun went down, and the fan had only one speed - on or off. Great location, very central, but there are many hotels that offer the same location/proximity. We were denied early check-in as well as a request for a one hour late check-out. It impossible that they would require four hours to prepare our small room for the next guests. Overall, we found the staff nice but utterly lacking in a desire to help us in any way other than check-in and check-out and basic WhatsApp communication. On the plus side the staff spoke English which was helpful at check-in as we do not speak Spanish fluently (yet). We’ll definitely go back to San Pancho…but we will try another one of the many hotels in town.
