The hosts Vittorio and Federica are helpful and lovely, too! They met us promptly at the house upon our arrival and came promptly for our departure. We called them a couple of times for advice and they were helpful with tips on restaurants and activities.
The Villa garden and pool are clean and a relaxing place. I think the pool boy came to clean the pool every day but he came early and quietly, so we did not see him, but the pool was always clean. The Villa is only one block back from the beach. There are many restaurants and food stores nearby.
Inside, the living room is spacious and has an "L" shaped couch and coffee table as well as another table with four chairs. There is good wifi. The living room downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs have flat screen TVs with all the channels. The dining room has a large table that can sit at least 10 people, probably a few more. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a 5 burner stove, an oven, a large refrigerator and freezer, an espresso maker, a tea kettle, a microwave, and the pots and pans and utensils needed to cook. The is a clothes washing machine in the kitchen. There were plates and serving dishes. One thing is maybe more and bigger drinking glasses - but maybe that's just us being so American! Also downstairs is a small, but full bath with shower and a small bedroom with one twin bed.
Upstairs, the master bedroom had a full, comfortable bed, lots of closets, a TV as I mentioned and a full en-suite bath with double sinks and shower and bidet and airconditioning. The second large bedroom upstairs has another full bed, TV, and many closets, but I could not get the air conditioner to work in this room. There is extra storage in closets in the hall. There is a full hall bath with double sink, shower and bidet.The third bedroom has two twin beds, an air conditioner, TV and a balcony. The fourth bedroom upstairs has bunk twin beds and another twin bed so fits 3 people, and also has a balcony.
Pros: Lots of space for large family gatherings, well equipped, comfortable, clean, TVs in most rooms, good wifi, beautiful pool and garden, gated entry and parking space, safe and secure, very close to beach and restaurants and to the train to Rome (about 30 minutes to Rome), wonderful hosts
Cons: Maybe not enough air conditioning for Americans, but enough to sleep comfortaby, could have more dishes, glasses and silverware for large gathering to eat, need mosquito repellent -this is true for all of Fregene, I think
