We were very disappointed not to have been welcomed at the property as arranged. I was sent a message regarding check in so the host could greet us but that didn’t eventuate. Instead we were welcomed by a locked door and nobody to meet us. Apparently we had not paid 30 for the city tax but had already paid over 1100. This tax can be paid after our stay but not in this case. It wasn’t the welcome we had expected.The apartment was not furnished as the photos suggested as everything was very worn indicating the promotional photos were very old.The crockery was chipped and the cookware very dated. The wiring around the unit was very untidy and for some could be a trip hazard and dangerous.The unit was not clean as the cupboards were greasy to the touch in the kitchen and the bathroom cabinets required work as they were chipped and worn.Electrical fixtures were loose and one fell off the wall when turning it on.The bedside tables were very loosely attached and worn and one even fell off its fixture.These complaints were explained to the host before making this review but they were not concerned.We were very disappointed with this accommodation and gave the host every opportunity to rectify the situation but she was not forthcoming.Overall, this unit was well positioned but very unloved with no attention to detail or cleanliness.
