B&B en Río Powell

"The price that we booked was not the price that we had to pay at the motel. The front desk lady was insistent that since we booked (a month ago) prices had gone up. They also said that they were dog friendly - I would have booked a dog friendly room if the option was available. Because we had our dog, a standard room was now not an option and we had to pay for a much more expensive room on top of an extra $25.00 dog fee. The upgraded room, was not an upgrade whatsoever. This is a very old motel...

"The cottage is well appointed. There was nothing we would have added to the cottage to make it more comfy or serviceable. It's in a quiet neighbourhood, and the owner (who lives next door) was very friendly and attended quickly and efficiently to our questions/requests. The tv quit working after our second night's stay. We went out for the majority of the day, when we arrived back at the cottage, the owner had bought and installed a brand new tv. Very much appreciated!! "

"Our reservation for the weekend was cancelled twice by VRBO. The owner of this property, Scott, was extremely helpful. He helped us fund other dates and contacted VRBO to change our reservation.The property is a nice location but we were dissapponted to see that the photos indicated a noce cabin and we got a basement suite with virtually no windows. The front window was covered by a big equipment, the main bedroom window covered with wood making the room totally dark during a super sunny day....

"This cabin was extremely overpriced for what it is and the time of year. This is our only complaint. This is a 100 per night cabin max in late October. It is a cabin that has a out house toilet and no kitchen. We feel ripped off."

"We expected and loved the heritage building and Rich, at reception, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were out most of our one full day and our standard room was never cleaned even though we left the cleanup sign on our door at 9:45 am. The bathroom was run down and not spotless! The location is magical. I would suggest an on- the-water room, as a couple we met saw 2 humpback whales swim by. And, the sunset is magnificent."
