The property is beautifully situated, but it’s clear that it’s somewhat run down. While the signage is prominent and easy to spot, driving in feels more like entering a large parking lot, with some lanes barricaded off, which creates a less welcoming first impression. We parked across from the lobby entrance near a cabin that appeared to be rented long-term, with personal items on the porch. This added to the overall worn-down feel and made us a bit hesitant at first.
That said, the front desk clerk was lovely and very welcoming, which immediately improved our experience. We had no trouble finding our room. Although the rooms are older, they were clean and well-maintained. The view of the water was absolutely gorgeous and a definite highlight of our stay.
The king-size bed was comfortable, and the oversized pillows were very full. The room was equipped with useful amenities including a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee provided.
We were pleased to see an EV charging station near our room, but unfortunately, when we checked with the office, we were told it is currently still offline.
Overall, despite some cosmetic and maintenance issues, the location is very convenient—just minutes from everything we were doing. I would consider staying here again.
