The positives: The unit covers the basics — air conditioning, washer/dryer, and plumbing all worked without issue (though the primary ceiling fan was out of order). We felt safe during our stay. The location is the biggest selling point: easy walking distance to Rosemary and Alys, plus convenient access to bike rentals, shops, and live music at Peddlers Pub. Management was fairly responsive when we asked for alternative Wi-Fi and more body wash (though they declined to provide the latter). The drawbacks: The photos online do not accurately reflect the current state of the unit. What looks bright and airy in pictures is actually quite dark, even midday with the curtains open. There’s clear wear and tear since the listing photos were taken, and many furnishings have been swapped out — dining set, stools, coffee table, bunk bed, and even the primary bedroom setup are different. While changes in furniture aren’t necessarily an issue, paired with the dated upkeep it feels misleading on arrival.Cleanliness was adequate in high-touch areas (like bedding and vanities), but overall the unit could use a more thorough cleaning. The kitchen is stocked with a random assortment of utensils and supplies — fine for simple meals, but not well equipped if you plan to cook more. For instance, we couldn’t find a baking sheet or food storage containers. A Keurig provided, but with only two pods, and the paper products provided felt very low quality for the price point. We will not book again
