The most incredible property I've ever stayed! We had a group of 8 people and we all were just blown away by the villa -- the views, the pools, the gym, the amount of space -- seriously everything! John is the most responsive host and extremely helpful when planning your perfect vacation. I want to bring my whole family back to Villa Movina!!!

Wonderful stay at Villa Movina! We had a group of 13, including children, adults and seniors- everyone have plenty of room. We appreciated the pick up at the airport for check-in, everyone loved the pools, the attentive hosts, and stunning views.

We were celebrating my 60th birthday with 6 of my friends and the host gave us a bottle of Passion Fruit rum that was great along with some other snacks, which was great after a long trip there. John and his team were always attentive and helped us with everything we needed.

Beautiful Villa in Paradise
The property is spectacular. Sitting up high on the hill/mountain-side with a perfect unobstructed view overlooking the Dawn Beach bay and the mountains of St. Bart centered on the horizon. The house was perfect for us - we were 4 adults and 7 kids and perfectly fit Villa Movina's 2 living spaces and 6 bedrooms rooms that could each be master bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (plus multiple additional powder rooms and an additional full bathroom in the gym), and some with outdoor showers, jet hot tubs, etc. Many beautiful places to sit for a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy the views. A standalone gym that was used most days. And two pools surrounded by chase lounges. The decor of the house is so nice we took photographs before leaving to come home with ideas. The owner of the house, John, and his team are among the most responsive people I have ever met, offering myriad ideas of things to do, help with ideas for our complicated travel schedule among islands, and organizing layout changes to the house such as converting a couple king beds to dual twin beds for the kids. With the height and view comes a steep hike! Rental car highly recommended/required. The island has so much to offer you will want it to get around anyway. That said, we did walk all the way down the hill to the beach and hotel properties and back up on several occasions - definitely doable, but it's a legit workout.We would definitely return, and miss the house and the island already

Fantastic stay at Villa Movina
Our family group of 10 age 22-85 had a wonderful time staying at Villa Movina. My favorite part of our vacation was morning coffee on the patio overlooking the Ocean and St Bart's. The view is absolutely spectacular and the home is beautiful and well maintained. The photos cannot fully capture how nice and well laid out the house is. All the spaces are comfortable, useful, and attractive. The hosts were so kind and responsive to all our concerns. I cant imagine better hosts to have. I believe this hiuse wou

Perfect escape to St. Martin
I had been really looking forward to a Caribbean escape for months and this was just what the doctor ordered. Villa Movina was fantastic, well located, and extremely comfortable for our entire group. We spent a ton of time on the compound enjoying the nice kitchen, amazing pool that overlooks the ocean, eating at some of the spots close by (we liked BZH Creperie), and exploring the island. Could not recommend the experience more— we will certainly be back. There is no greater joy than French pastries, Caribbean beaches, and a comfortable home to relax in.

Perfect for couples trip
Came with 3 other couples to the beautiful Villa Movina. Located right on the border between the Dutch and French sides, this place was well located for exploring the whole island. The double pool situation was very fun, and there were enough good rooms that the whole group was happy. We cooked a few nights, and the kitchen was stocked. Also did our laundry before heading out. Won’t say how many times I used the gym… but some of us were very happy with the gym set up. John had great suggestions and was very friendly/communicative. Plan to come back as soon as I can!

Villa Movina is Amazing!
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Movina. The home is gorgeous with incredible views of St. Barths. The pictures don’t do it justice. The spaces inside are well appointed with no details missed and the whole home feels like a luxury resort. We stayed for a week with 10 total adults for a birthday celebration and could not have been more pleased with the home. We highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat to stay again.

A slice of paradise !
Our stay at Movina was nothing short of magical! I rented the villa for a long weekend getaway with our family friends and children and it exceeded all expectations.
Every detail was beautifully curated and full of island charm. The kids loved the two pools and the fantastic gym was an added bonus for the adults! The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and we enjoyed most meals on the terrace with an ocean view.
Checkin/checkout was highly efficient and the lovely host John gave us plenty of recommendations for exploring the island. I highly recommend Movina for your next getaway!

Perfect island getaway! We will be back
My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway from the U.S. We had a wonderful stay at Movina, and we appreciate how John was willing to shorten the minimum stay given the slower season on the island. We can’t wait to come back for longer when we’re able to take more time off. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, with a lot of thoughtful amenities. The onsite gym was a major bonus! My new favorite vacation spot!!!
I had an absolutely incredible time staying in La Movina. Not only was the property and views breathtaking, but the small touches John and his staff put into the stay made it feel like a five star premium hotel - from the travel toiletries, bathrobes and luxurious bedding to the abundance of beach towels and anything we could have asked for. The obvious highlight was the two swimming pools onsite but my personal favorite feature was the gym full of equipment. The reliability of the high speed WiFi was also a huge plus for working remotely! I can’t wait to stay at La Movina again next year!!!
