Alabaster is a true five-star property—an absolutely beautiful home in an equally beautiful location. The house was exceptionally well stocked and well cared for, with daily cleaning service.The pool is fantastic, though it was hard to pull ourselves away from the incredible beach and 82-degree water just steps away. The location is ideal, with a quick walk to the convenience store and a great outdoor bar.Lisa provided excellent information about the home as well as nearby activities and dining options. The entire family was happy—and no one complained about my morning runs to Bread and Butter.Thank you for sharing your home with us. We would absolutely love to come back.

View was great. Rooms were very spacious and well appointed. Beach was fantastic - not too busy even though it was over the New Year period.Only issue was that the property is a bit isolated and it was a bit of a drive to go for groceries (there was a little market on site but it only sold a few things).

The villa itself was beautiful but sure wish we were made aware that we could be unable to swim in the ocean and that there would be bulldozers all day present to remove the seaweed. And the ocean was no longer blue, but brown at the villa beach due to the copious amount of seaweed coming in. Resort staff informed us that this has been this way since 2017. Not what I expected for an oceanfront rental.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the oceanfront villa in St. Martin! The accommodations were fantastic—the villa itself was beautiful, incredibly clean, and so well-stocked with everything we needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep after a day of exploring.The pool was definitely a highlight; we spent many hours relaxing by the water, taking in the stunning ocean views. It was the perfect spot to unwind.The only minor downside was the sargassum that had washed up on the beach during our stay. While this is a natural occurrence and not something the property can control, it did affect our ability to enjoy the beach directly. However, the fantastic pool and the overall comfort of the villa more than made up for it. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

Villa was amazing, clean, and perfect for my family, which included my 72 year-old mother and my two children ages five and seven. While we couldn’t go on the beach because of the sargassum, the villa was in a great location to get to other beaches since we run in a car. We really enjoyed staying there and enjoyed talking to Presley who took care of our pool each morning.

Beautiful house in nice location, but a few bumps in our vacation

We were very excited about this beachfront property on one of the nicest beaches on the island. Unfortunately, nature had other plans and decided to provide us with a plague of unending and fetid sea algae called sargassum. As a result, Dawn beach was completely non-usable and the pool and patio area were difficult to enjoy due to the hydrogen sulfide gas emitted by the metrics tons of algae stacked up on beach. We rented the property for two weeks and had initially hoped it would clear out during that time, but it will likely make this beach challenging for many months. The owner forgot to pass our two week reservation along to the concierge or property management. This resulted in them being completely unaware of our arrival and the property not being ready at check in. I tried repeatedly contacting the owner prior to arrival but never got a response. I tried contacting the property team prior to arrival, but they were confused because they didn’t see my booking. Despite this, the management team had everything spiffed up after a couple hours, and held our luggage while we went to buy groceries. Overall, the house, amenities, property management, and house keeping staff were EXCELLENT. This place would have been perfect without the sargassum and with better communication from the owner to the property management team and me. We drove to a dozen other beaches that were not impacted by the deluge of algae. My family and I had a great time and got to enjoy the island.

Villa Alabaster is a Pearl in Oyster Pond

We had a fantastic time and loved the accommodations. The Villa is much bigger than the pictures allow and it was perfect. From end to end, the experience was seamless. From the front office staff to the daily pool and home cleaning experts to the beach crew.....everything was seamless and well maintained. I highly recommend Villa Alabaster and will stay there again!!

7k But No Communication

Arrived at villa and was shown around by a nice young lady from the resort. Changed into our bathing suits to enjoy the pool and beach to find the sargassum that was plaguing the Caribbean, very unfortunate. After a couple of days with no respite in the foul smelling grass in the beach, I sent a message to the owner for alternative beach suggestions so we could avoid the seagrass. After no respose for a couple of days, we spoke to some locals and they gave us some good ideas on the French side of the island. On day 8 of our trip, the AC stopped working in the main living area. I again messaged the owner after contacting the resort front desk with the issue. No response again. They came and reset the system and that worked for a couple of hours and stopped again. When we went to bed last night, it was 28C/83F in the main area. Finally, we decided to grill out our last night and found the grill didn't even work. Luckily, I was able to borrow the igniter from the neighbor to cook dinner. I messaged the owner again this morning on our checkout day urging her to have the AC permanently repaired before the spare next tennant staying here, surprise, surprise, no response. Disappointing.

Perfect for guest with young children

There was 7 of us. Grandparents in their 60s, two adult children with their wives and one granddaughter 7 months old. The unit was extremely clean, and spacious. Each couple had their own bathroom. All three bedrooms and bathrooms were good size especially the master which had a wall of sliding glass looking out over the pool and beach. Spectacular!! Being in the villa was perfect especially when the baby took her naps. We brought the baby monitor outside by the pool to listen and watch her while she napped. (can't do that in a hotel) The backyard was the pool and just about 75 feet from the pool was the ocean. The restaurants were literally only about a 100 yard walk on the sandy beach. The two restaurants were perfect for us. One being casual with huge selection. The other being business casual dress. I highly recommend this property. FYI. We are clean freaks and always skeptical about renting a property thinking it may not be clean. Nothing to worry about here.

This is an amazing villa ! Very clean and very lovely ! The pictures of the add does not do justice ! Much much nicer in person. The view is breathtaking and the staff is wonderful ! I highly recommend anyone to book this villa !

OMG Perfect!

I travel a lot and it is rare that someplace exceeds my expectations on every level, but this place did! The staff is fabulous and the Villa was spectacular. I cannot think of a single thing that was not anticipated. The on property amenities were fantastic and the owner's recommendations were thorough and good. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
