"This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. "

"Most dangerous environment for a family. Cabin was remotely located with no electricity and indoor toilet. Photographs posted do not do justice. I paid in full but after looking in person chose not stay because of safety, security and privacy. Staff was friendly. "

"Our family of 6 stayed very comfortably in the Flamingo House. It was perfectly New England coastal without the craziness of the Cape and bridges. Can't beat the location! Our 3 generations family enjoyed the quiet area, just a short walk the busier Onset Village. The teenagers had so much to do with all the amenities like e-bikes, jacuzzi, and water and sports equipment. "

"We were visiting family in the area and didn't want to burden them with house guests—Wooly Acres seemed like a good solution and we weren't disappointed! The space is cozy with a sizable bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room and we loved the historic charm of the decor—especially the interior wood shutters and latch doors. The grounds are also lovely. We wondered if there would be a strong "barn smell" in the heat—but there wasn't. And the sheep and donkey were friendly and adorable. Chris...
