"This lovely little holiday let , was in a great position for Whitley Bay and other places. Maxine was so accommodating and treated us with kindness! Would we return yes! 👏🏼 The local people were warm and welcoming."

"A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "

"This apartment is tucked away on a nice quiet street, with a friendly pub half a street down. The level of cleanliness in the property was some of the best I have seen; you can clearly see that the owner cares about her business and customers! We had a lovely stay and got lots of activities done, from a boat tour in seahouses (40min drive) to see seals and dolphins, to an audio tour of warkworth castle (10min drive) and many other things along the way. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!...

"We stayed in Barkers for a week in early July. The cottage is well presented, neat and tidy with good quality appliances that all worked. There were only two of us but it would comfortably accommodate four people. There is a pub across the road and a shop 50 yards away. The only negatives for us was that the road it is on is moderately busy and the front bedroom with a Velux window was noisier than I would have liked from 6am to 9 am; the back bedroom was fine.In summary it was good value...

"Lovely comfy cottage located in an ideal location for accessing Northumberland Coastline and Moors. Local amenities are great with the town of Morpeth less than 10 minutes away. The pub 100m from the cottage is a great local pub with good food and friendly staff. The quality of everything in the cottage is great, the hot tub and log burner are also fantastic and allowed for a very relaxing stay.We will definitely be back in the future."

"We had a wonderful stay at this awesome property! Super comfortable and family friendly! Just an FYI, there is a washer but not a dryer, not a problem as they have a drying rack. Also the King bed is actually a double but it was plenty for us!"

"Great apartment right in the town centre. Spacious living space and everything you need for a home from home experience. As the flat is high up you get great views out towards the castle and the roof windows give great views of the stars on a clear night."
