Wow Pam, I’m really surprised you felt this way. Any and all issues you had including trying to get the pool up to 85° every day when it was only supposed to be at 80 was taken care of immediately including the pool guy having to come over to the house several times to explain to you That the pool heater only runs while the pump is on. This was the biggest concern you had even after I explained to you that there was a hot tub available that you were not able to get in and out of. Again I’m sorry you felt the way you do . Ralph

Steven, I’m sorry you feel that way. Especially when you couldn’t figure out how to work the TV I had to send someone all the way from Tampa over to the house to unplug the TV and plug it back in again for it to work for you. When I tried discussing this over the phone, you were not even looking to help yourself in this situation. I was more than happy to take time out of the day to try to correct the situation with you and you wanted nothing to do with it. Ralph

Gary I’m sorry I missed your basketball games. But this is the first time in over nine years I’ve had somebody so concerned with a sports channel. I’m guessing the majority of the families that go down are looking to spend time with their families not watching TV. I know when I go down with my family I’m a sports junkie and unfortunately I’m usually not able to get my Yankee games but there is always sports to watch on TV. I’m glad to see the home was able to fulfill all your needs. And that the location was desirable for your trip. Unfortunately I’m very upset to hear about “mold “in the bathroom I have spoken to my cleaning lady who has been with me for over three years in reference to this. She has assured me that if there is any mold in the home it will not be there after she leaves after this cleaning. I wish you would’ve mentioned something to me about mold on your arrival I would’ve sent her over to Clean. Sometimes when a house is not used in a couple of weeks some things might go without being seen. This is unfortunate and I apologize. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay Ralph

Dear Sarah, I feel it is horrible that because I didn’t give into your extortion and blackmail attempts on discounting your stay for almost half of your visit you felt that you needed to bash and degrade our wonderful home, as so many families have enjoyed and loved over the many years we have shared it. Although our home is not new we have repainted it inside and out just months before your arrival along with a new roof. We have remodeled the kitchen and living room the year before. So we certainly have no issues in maintaining the home. My apologies if you found an empty beer can squeezed in between the hot tub and the house But honestly all your other complaints are basically nonexistent. Our housekeeper has been with us over four years and we have never had any issues with cleanliness like you have complained about. It’s impossible to keep a home perfect but we pride ourselves on how nice we keep our home. Keep in mind, me and my family stay in this home a couple months out of the year every year. As far as the damaged sofa it was replaced today. 11/16/21. I’m sorry the furniture store could not get there sooner, I thought with everything going on with the pandemic you might be a little more understandable. My son and housekeeper were there when it was removed and said it was not that bad and it was actually going to be donated. Throughout the years I understand some people are more meticulous than others. I would suggest, maybe next trip, you should try spending a little more money per night and stay in a luxury five-star resort. . Happy travels. Sincerely Ralph

We actually received a sofa shortly after your stay but it was not the sofa we ordered and was forced to send it back and re-order another set after we were told that the set we ordered was no longer available. Kathy thank you for your review. The whole house inside and out has been scheduled to be repainted this spring. Along with replacing the king size mattress. Me and my family stayed in the home for a month before your arrival and did not realize the mattress was in such a poor shape. Thank you Ralph

Ron I’m sorry you had trouble with the hot tub. I had to pool and spa guy come down this morning. He sent me a video of the spa “hot tub”and it was working fine Although the hot tub is getting a little older it still operates perfectly. It has air buttons that need to be pushed down all the way in order for it to come on. It’s a safety feature. If the buttons are not pushed down all the way it will not come on. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay while you were down here.

I apologize about the key for the boat ramp not being available upon your arrival. Unfortunately not every family that comes launches a boat from our private boat ramp. I do however pay a lot of money to provide access to this every year to make it more convenient for families to have access to the ramp. It’s horrible that the key was not there and that some other family in the past miss placed it. Be assured this is now part of the housekeepers protocol to make sure the key is there every time. Is very upsetting that short term tenants no longer have access to the community beach, but they’re not only plenty of beautiful beaches nearby there is still access to the gulf , State and private island by boat,. As far as the other home you stayed in the past inside the same community as ours, you will find out next year that they can no longer offer you access to the private beach either. Unfortunately this was a decision within the community that was made. I was certainly not in favor of it and efforts are being made to have it changed back to the way it was . But this affected all the homes in the community not just mine. As far as a leaky sink, there is no way for seeing a leaky sink. And please keep in mind, the whole kitchen was totally remodeled less than six months ago including the plumbing. The plumber that came to the house to make the repairs claimed that the pipe under the sink was “knocked off “. But I never mention that to you nor did I hold back any security for the repairs. There are a lot of conveniences to staying in a home compared to a hotel , yeah please remember, will you get reasonably a lot more from renting a home there is certainly more responsibility and maintenance that goes into a private home opposed to renting a room in a hotel Economically, you could never get in a hotel what you receive while renting someone’s home.
