2025 Family Beach Vacation

This home was amazing! It was spacious, clean, and the layout was perfect. The pool was the perfect size for 8 and was a huge hit with the kids. The golf cart was a huge plus when we booked this and it came in handy to drive around the area instead of packing everyone into a vehicle. We took it to the beach, for ice cream,shopping, etcThis place is located almost directly across from a private beach access. It’s so close to walk, but who has to walk with a golf cart! There’s a great restaurant right across the street as well. The ping pong table and bikes were also a hit with us as it gave us extra stuff to do. The AC worked amazing. I’ve stayed in places before where the AC has gone out on us during our stay. You can tell whoever owns this home, takes good care of it as the AC and water heater looked new. I’d definitely comeback and stay!

Great property

Overall everthing was great! All the little extra amenities on the property was awesome to have. The property had plenty of pans and dishes that accommodated my family of 7. The maintenance of the front yard could have been better. Communication is nonexistent when asking a question. We left an item at the property and wasn't sure if we would still have access after we checked out. Called the number 3 times, sent messages through VRBO and text message, received no response. We took the chance and went back to the house and thankfully the cleaning service was already there so they let my husband in. Even inquired about staying an extra night and I got sent a generic message about reviewing the checkout reminders. So, i guess that was their way of saying no.

Disaster from the start

It should have been a clue this house would not be as described when we pulled up and the grass was literally to our knees. We went into the house and there were dirty, sandy socks on the floor, immediately upon entering the home. The home has a list of issues that need addressing before ANYONE rents this home again. The couch had multiple stains on it and needs replacing. The back door is broken. The outdoor table is rusted and needs to be thrown away. The outdoor umbrella is broken and unusable. There are outdoor chairs that are rusty and need to be disposed of as well. One of the 4 bikes is unrideable, as the chain kept coming off no matter how many times it was reattached. The outdoor grill appears to have never have been cleaned. There is a missing paddle for the ping pong table. The toilet paper holder in the master bathroom continued to fall off the wall. One of the golf cart head lights is ou and the golf cart charges intermittently. I tried addressing these issues with the host via email and phone call and nothing was done. I paid entirely too much for this property to have all these issues with no resolution. This was complete misrepresentation of the property. It’s unfortunate this site does not allow photos to be attached, as I have all the evidence on my phone (which I provided thehost and VRBO.). My suggestion

Great Location

We loved this property! It was a short walk to the beach! The golf cart was nice to have for hauling all our items to the beach. We enjoyed the pool as well. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our group of 8 and the activities that we enjoy!

Great house with issues

Upon arrival the house on the outside was not clean. The grass had not been mowed, the garage door was broken so we could not take the golf cart out the first day/night, the pool area was dirty, the refrigerator was not working properly, the trash cans were over flowing, the garage area was dirty (which is supposed to be a game room), brought our own chlorine test strips for the pool, after the 2nd day the pool had no chlorine in it (this was resolved after calling, but...), some indoor things were noted also. Most of these things were resolved after contacting BeachWalk properties- just disappointed we had to deal with it. We did like the house and the location! Hopefully the place will be cleaned up and taken care of for the future.

The beach is walking distance, grocery store, outlets, and food nearby. Quiet neighborhood and friendly people.! Definitely booking this house again.

Great Stay

Great property and in a good location. This place was very clean and had everything we needed, plus more! What we liked most about our stay was the location, sorta off the beaten path. Short walk to the beach and not a lot of traffic. At night, it was quiet. Everything that we did was a relatively short drive.. 5 - 10 minute drive to places (grocery, breakfast, etc.. . Morrison Springs was the farthest for us at 40 minutes, and Grayton Beach was about 25 minutes. Nothing but good things to say about this place!!!! My only recommendation for this property would be to have an outside hose by the entrance to help rinse off the sand from the beach before walking into the house. 5 stars!! Ohhhhh and if you are bringing kids, don't let them con you into playing Cards Against Humanities (which the host provides)... I made them all go to church!

Fun weekend

The property was very nice and had everything we needed to use to cook and enjoy our weekend. Very close to the beach but beaches are mainly private.
