The view from our hotel room was fantastic. That is about the only fantastic thing about this hotel. No sign on building. The "smart" elevators were such a pain. They would stop at the wrong floor, go back down when people still needed to go up, and would reset. The paint job in the room was absolutely horrendous and they even painted the bathtub. In the bathroom, there was no venting system, the faucet handles were loose, and looked like a towel rack came off in the shower because there was only one handle. We were only offered 2 shower towels, 2 washcloths, and 2 beach towels for the 5 days we were there, along with just one roll of toilet paper. When asked for new towels, they said they didn't offer that service and we would have to pay for laundry, and also buy detergent. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. They also did absolutely no housekeeping to our room. No cleaning supplies, trash bags, or paper towels were left for us either, when it was apparent that we were supposed to be our own housekeepers after calling to question this. The outlet that the microwave was plugged to was also hanging off the wall which is a safety hazard. Knobs on the cabinets didn't even match and the mirror was chipping away. We didn't even have a remote when we got there. The staff who brought us the remote were fast at responding, nice and deserve to be acknowledged. I feel horrible for this staff because the way the owner's take care of their hotel is atrocious
