"We had a wonderful stay. A very special thank you to Sean, who is part of the owner’s family and was incredibly kind and attentive. He explained everything with great care, made us feel truly welcome, and even shared interesting stories about the family and the place, as well as giving us excellent tips. "A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... Charming smaller towns feel so welcoming and familiar, but are eclipsed by the glamorous bigger cities). But back to the Glen...
