"Es un hotel pintoresco y muy distinto a todo. No es en si un castillo sino una casona antigua que fue adaptada en 1969 como hotel dándole una apariencia de castillo. Las habitaciones muy buenas y hermosas pero las áreas comunes, estancias y pasillos requieren ya de un mantenimiento mayor."

"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but...

"We stayed on a day when it was very hot, and they gave us thinner sheets and an extra fan so they made a hot stay much better."

"The resort is a bit out of the way but that was what made it special. No cell phone coverage at the resort so you have time to reset and enjoy your surroundings."
