"We loved this property and would stay here again! It was just as described. It's in a quiet residential area and is a perfect getaway spot with good privacy. It has lots of windows (especially the large ones in the bedroom), that look out on the lush rainforest. We loved hearing the frogs at night! The bed was extremely comfortable. "A luxurious camping experience with running hot water, electricity, and use of a washer/dryer. Not many places to eat around and the closest "grocery store" is very expensive (12 for a gallon of milk). Make sure you plan ahead and bring mosquito repellent!! "

"We were looking for a place to stay for the night outside of Hilo while exploring that side of the island. This little cottage is clean, spacious and directly across the road from a beautiful, secluded black sand beach. It was magical! We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy it for a longer stay. "This was a very cozy, clean and pleasant cottage for an island getaway. Marie was able to arrange a floral arrangement for my wife’s birthday, which was beautiful and extremely thoughtful. There were plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby and they were only a short distance from the cottage. We would definitely stay there again!"
