"Great private location, quiet and beautiful place to relax but close to activities. We cooked most of our meals there in the little kitchen which provided most of the essentials. The washer and dryer was perfect for our week stay. The room stayed cool with the extra fans. We definitelywill be returning. "

"Room is located in a working class apartment/condo complex, with a nice pool and good quality furnishings. It's not fancy, but is centrally located to Hilo and makes a great "base of operations" at a reasonable price. I recommend it for people who want to see the Big Island on a budget."

"Stayed here for a week whilst visiting the eastern side of the big island and loved our time here!
It has a 70s/bohemian vibe which mirrors downtown Hilo and is much larger than the photos.
With 2 x double beds, a well equipped kitchen and decent bathroom and plenty of space to hang clothes it was ideal for us + you can use the washing machine/dryer in the entrance hallway in afternoon hrs.
It’s above/joint on to Rainbow Jo’s shop and staff in the daytime were v.helpful.

"A very lovely guest house that is attached to the back of a main house. Complete privacy and quiet. Nice yard to enjoy. House has all updated appliances and decor. Very modern and comfortable. Set in a quiet residential area. I would definitely stay again!"

"We had a glitch with the lock but the owner was quick to respond to my phone call to give us the combo for the manual key, which I appreciated very much. The second bed was very small, the removable shower head line was leaking badly. The stove top and oven were dirty and the fan was also dirty. There was no complimentary coffee. "
