This listing tells you it’s a down payment to reserve, however, when you reserve, the listing takes the entire amount out of your card, so please be financially prepared for that. I know that could be a shock to some if not ready.
Check-in:
We were asked if we would like to add Thursday night onto our stay because it was available, we declined.
We asked if we could have early check-in on Friday, was told it would be no issue and to confirm on Fri. It was at this point we began getting a run-around and very disorganized communication. We were told to hold while they discussed an early check-in. We did not hear back and called Cozy Rentals. We were told to call back in one hour for a decision, making it 1pm on Friday. We called back at 1 on Fri and were told we could not early check-in because inspections needed to be done. Inspections on an empty rental should have already occurred if we were offered to stay Thursday night, but ok. It’s also not just one person you speak to, it was a new service person every time, so they would have to review what was said previously and it felt like starting over each time.
Then our check-in time (4pm) came and went and we had to reach out to the Cozy company again in order to check-in. Finally got a code to enter at 5pm Friday.
Once in the rental we had trouble with the locks on the doors and had to call for assistance, apparently instructions were in an email that we never.
