It was a family vacation and we truly enjoyed the home. Minor issue but something that was not of property owner control really but was handled immediately. We are very grateful for you and others that make it possible for families to be together under one roof on vacation. And thank you all for being so pleasant and nice.

Nice beach trip with a night at the pool. The house was great! The provided beach chairs and wagon was perfect. No actual bathroom at the beach that you walk to. Had to walk back and forth to house. Which was durable for us, but a FYI for others. Beach is a small section between private beaches, which I imagine would become pretty crowded during peak months.

The pictures do not do the property any justice. It’s a beautiful property and very spacious. The communication between the property and I was always helpful and very friendly. We had a group of 7 adults had more than enough space. The driveway fit 3 cars. I wish that there were more parking options in the community but it worked out for us. My only con about this property were the tiny roaches we saw in the kitchen. We were there for 4 days and saw one just about everyday in the kitchen, whether it was in the sink or on the counter top. We only saw them in the kitchen, never anywhere else in the house. The house was spotless when we arrived. When coming to Destin, we would definitely choose this property again! It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and located near Destin Commons. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our time at the pool.

Worked out well for 16. Wished there was a better outside sitting area for 16. Rooms worked out well and top floor was cool. Surprised there weren’t any beach towels and only 4 beach chairs. Beach is packed for public. We found out that driving about 2 miles towards Miramar was best.

Only 1 major issue - one of the smoke detectors started chirping in the middle of the night. Called the emergency number and maintenance came to replace the battery fairly quickly, showed us where the ladder was and left a spare battery in case it happened again, so we wouldn't have to wait. Everything else was wonderful. Short walk to the beach, we grilled multiple times, had all the kitchen supplies we needed, and plenty of room to gather with family, while still enough room to not be under each other's feet. Loved the porch and balconies. In short, we had a great time, were fully prepared based on the website instructions, and I have no hesitation recommding this to anyone else. It was my first Vrbo stay, and I loved it!

I would say that this was a really nice place to stay, very well stocked with linen. I’m a little upset someone in my party lost wrist band and I will be charged $25 and no one every checked for arm bands at pool! We didn’t wear them after 1st day. The kitchen was a little small but we made it work! We had 12 adults 2 children and 3 under age of 2 and had plenty of room!

Where do I begin?! First, the floors of the home were so dirty that everyone’s feet and socks were black after just our first night at the property. We contacted the property management company who sent a cleaner out the next morning, but the cleaner didn’t arrive until after noon and had an attitude about having to be there to clean. Second, there were dead bugs behind the window blinds and an ant problem in the kitchen that was never addressed. Third, most of the TV remotes had dead batteries that we had to replace to be able to use the TVs. Fourth, parking was an absolute nightmare and there was never any overflow parking available. I was so grossed out by the lack of cleanliness it made me wonder what else wasn’t being cleaned in the home. Renter beware!!!! Very disappointed.

Had a great week with the family of 14. I’ll describe the good and bad experiences, just know we really did enjoy the place and our time in FL! We stayed during spring break, but it was quiet after 11 and a good family environment. Check In process was super easy, although it seemed to be a later time than we wanted (4:00). Enjoyed having the 3 different levels, which allowed different activity spaces for the adults and kids. Laundry facility was great to have. Pool was a super close walk and a GREAT place for the kids. Even the beach was a nice easy walk too. Actually used the shuttle to/from a couple times and it was timely and easy. VRBO charges a hefty cleaning fee... but, whatever service they’re paying for isn’t very thorough. It’s surface cleaned, but needs a really deep clean. Also, the on-site vacuum was in poor condition and should be replaced. The kitchen was adequate and we made it work. Yes, parking is tight, but we managed 3 vehicles-an SUV, minivan, and a mid-size car. It was nice to have some beach toys and chairs onsite - a couple of them were broken but still usable. The grill worked, but does need to either be replaced or have all the internals replaced-it was super rusted out! Thanks for a fun week!

The property is as described with the exception of a few issues. The parking claims to hold 3 cars but certainly does not, which left one of our families on the prowl for overflow parking. The overflow parking was full almost the entire stay, which meant we were illegally parked and at risk of being towed. The neighborhood parking monitors were VERY strict and threatened us with towing on multiple occasions. It was difficult to relax knowing we were unable to resolve the parking issue. We paid for 3 spots but only had 2. Bugs were bad. We saw several roaches on every level of the house. Most were dead (not all) and we understand bugs are hard to avoid in Florida, but it was unnerving all the same. We paid a hefty cleaning fee and would expect it to be in better condition. The floors were quite dirty as well (we all had black feet). The public access to nearby beaches are all bordered by private properties, leaving the public with a 20 foot-wide area to pitch a tent (you can imagine this was nearly impossible as all families with a tent were on top of one another and stacked one behind the other). This was probably the most aggravating of all. Shade is critical with children in tow, and we were unable to use our own tents on 95% of the beach. So yes, public beach access is close but not feasible. We made the drive to the nearest state park and had a much more enjoyable day than we did at beaches near this property. There were many positives however. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The pool is beautiful. The house came well-stocked (with the exception of the toilet paper - bring your own!). Plenty of linens. Small kitchen but we knew that going in to it. We definitely enjoyed our stay over all.

House was great size for our 14 family members. We could all gather or have our own space when needed. It’s nicely decorated, well stocked, and has comfortable beds. We spent a lot of time at the large pool, was awesome! Beach is an easy 12 minute walk, and home is just off the main road of businesses. We’d stay again. Thanks!
