Hidden Treasure!
We stayed here for a week and were very happy with the house. It was very clean and all updated with the latest of things. The decorations were fun too. The plug in the master bathroom didn't work, but other plugs were available to use, so it wasn't a big deal. The kitchen is fully loaded with plates, etc. and cooking tools. Comfortable beds, soft sheets and yes, soft bath towels too! The location is close to Publix and some fun restaurants. Try Mom's Restaurant up the street for breakfast and lunch! We LOVED how close the house is to the beach, only about a four minute walk. AND the property had provided beach chairs, towels, umbrella, buckets, a cooler, and a wagon to haul everything to the beach! The beach here had more unique and easy to find sea shells than Sanibel Island too!!! Go watch the sunset on the beach. You will be in for a real treat! The hosts were great too from the beginning to end. Keep in mind that this little hidden treasure's area is still rebuilding after Hurricane Ian, but we didn't find the rebuilding to be a problem in any way. We also met the next door neighbor, Brian, who is very friendly. We are keeping the information for this hidden treasure in hopes to stay here again one day!!!!

Great Stay
House met all expectations. My family was comfortable throughout our stay. From the bikes and beach gear, to the ice machine and towels details were well accounted for. The extras made the stay easy and allowed us to maximize our vacation. Would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous
Thus was a girls trip. House is in a great location to the beach, only 2 miles from the main FMB which I walkable. The house itself has absolutely everything you from towels, kitchen essentials, bikes, beach chairs and wagon. Couldn’t have asked for anything more except more time. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing Little House
This is the first time back in the last two years since the hurricane and we were so excited to find this house. Everything is just as perfect as it's described, even though it seems to good to be true when you read the description, see all the things it comes with, and look through al the pictures! We used the bikes several times to ride up to the north end. There is an ice machine and they also provide ice bags which came in extremely handy to head to the beach! We had an absolute amazing time. Even the neighbor was wonderful! The only wo pieces of information I would have wanted to know which understandably is hard with VRBO not giving out the exact address until 3 days ahead of time. This house is just a few streets in off the corner of Estero and Bayland drive but still just a short couple minute walk to the beach and the closest beach access is also incredibly easy located directly across from Bayland drive. It's hard to tell by current google pictures what is accessible and what's not but there is a sidewalk straight out to the beach. Everything that can be open is open while it might look a little different. The same beach vibe is there, bars are open, live music is playing even though there is still a lot of work to be done. Get out stay in this house and visit Fort Myers!

We loved our stay at Toes in the Sand on Ft Myers Beach. The beach house was great for us and the location was perfect. Easy walk to groceries and the beach. No need to get stuck in the island traffic. Had everything we wanted. Would definitely book again and have already recommended it to friends!

Great location and tons of 'extras'
The house was exceptional with all the extras, including bikes, beach chairs, corn hole, pool floats, a wagon, beach umbrellas, coolers, ice machine, etc. The location was perfect, with a direct path to the beach. Everything was very clean and the outdoor area was a great place for relaxing in or out of the sun. The pool thermometer read 82 degrees on the first day, which was very impressive considering the cold days leading up to our stay. As the days got warmer, so did the pool. We loved having Publix's within walking distance since that was our go-to for our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Has it All!
This house was perfect for our week at the beach. Stocked with everything we needed from beach towels to coolers, bikes and more. Right next door to Publix and kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes so eating in was a breeze. Two restaurants behind Publix so we could eat out as well. There is construction happening all around which is to be expected with hurricane clean up but it did not bother us one bit. The island is coming alive again and the beach is absolutely gorgeous! I contacted the owners about a few things and they were helpful and quick to respond. It was truly an oasis!

Long weekend
The house was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The backyard area was so nice and great for gathering. We didn't get to use the bikes or the pool due to the weather, but everything was brand new and so nice. Great to have the food store so close also.

Fully equipped
We had a great stay over the NYE holiday. It was perfect for our family of 5, including 3 grown children. Everything was as-advertised and we all had enough space to spread out and enjoy the weather and our stay. We normally stay on the beach when we vacation but this was a pleasant surprise as the house was well equipped and furnished with everything we needed and it was a very short walk to the beach. Having Publix so close was a big win also as last-minute items were just a short walk or drive away. Would definitely recommend.

Great Spot!
We really enjoyed our stay at Toes in the Sand! The hosts were extremely accommodating - before AND during our visit. The hosts even put up a Christmas tree before we arrived (our kid's first Christmas away from home) which eased my mind and cut down on the 1K things to pack! There were plenty of bikes, beach toys, chairs and towels - PLENTY of beach, shower, hand, and kitchen towels. The entire backyard was lovely - a table to seat 8, lights for evening dining, a gas fireplace, turf area to run around, and the pool was heated AND awesome. We would definitely stay again, great host! Thank you for making our stay wonderful and stress free!

Great amenities! Super Location! Comfy, Quiet
This house offered it all; location, amenities, comfort, relaxation, and quiet. The beach was a short walk away and the wagon made it so easy to take all the beach accessories! Inside the house was decorated beautifully and felt beachy and relaxing. Everything you could need for drinks, dinner, and entertainment was available. I would recommend this place readily. My one big complaint was the laundry expectation for checkout. We were directed to leave only one load when we left, requiring that we wash all towels and at least some bedding. If I had an early flight and expected to sleep on sheets and shower in the morning, it would have been impossible to meet the directive. And, with a 175.00 cleaning fee I balk at having to do the laundry in the first place.

Clean & close to the beach
This property was one of the best I have stayed in. It was clean & had everything we needed in the kitchen! As well, lots of floats for the pool, lots of bikes for adults & kids- this place had everything!

Convenient location
The home was just perfect for us to relax and unwind. The proximity to the beach and the availability of the wagon, cooler and other beach items was such a bonus. It was also so nice to get fresh fish and seafood and cook it ourselves on the grill. When it rained we took advantage of the various board games, 'What do you Meme' was our favorite. Lots of laughs. The back yard was a nice private oasis for us to enjoy. I highly recommend staying at toes in the sand and especially during the off season. We practically had the beaches to ourselves! The proximity to Sanibel Island was very convenient as well and was definitely a must if you are visiting FMB.

Great location to beach in quiet neighborhood
This was our first visit to FMB. We loved the location. Walked to the beach everyday and road my bike to Publix for daily groceries. With The bikes and beach equipment you have everything you would need for a day at the beach. The house is quiet and comfortable and kitchen is stocked for cooking meals. The cons: The beach cart had a lot of trash in it from previous renters. The trash bins were not accessible - we were asked to put the trash out for pickup but there was a lock on the gate and no way to access it. A storm came through and blew around the pool chairs and decor and filled the pool with debris. We tried to clean the pool but the skimmers were both broken. The property manager didn’t respond right away so we had a dirty pool for a whole day.

Paradise
This property is wonderful! It is decorated just like a beach house with a full mural in the back, something to see with every turn. The salt water pool and tiki umbrellas were a perfect way to spend our days and nights and it was only a short walk to the beach. They have everything you can think of including a beach wagon to carry chairs and a cooler, also included and much more. The property manager is very nice and easy to communicate with, as well. We will be back!

Absolutely Amazing!
We absolutely loved everything about this property. Clean, neat, comfortable, perfect size for our family. Especially the pool area and even allowing use of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Location was perfect, close by everything on the Island and only steps from the ocean. Property manager was excellent host with awesome communication and assistance. I wish all my VRBO vacations were like this. Much Appreciated!

Amazing vacation
Toes in the Sand was everything we were looking for! Super close to the beach, far enough away from the busy center of town, but easy to get to. The beach toys, bikes, wagon and cooler were very helpful!! Highly recommend to families.

Insecure neighborhood
Something crazy going on the neighbors yo the left. Left lights on because concerns. Pot smoking every day. We had our grandchildren on this vacation. Didn’t expect what was going on in a neighborhood that you told me to respect the neighbors.

Hello Cindy, Sorry you didn't have your ideal vacation experience. It's unfortunate that you pre-judged and didn't take the time to realize that our neighboring homeowners consist of friendly, hard-working, health-conscious and respectful U.S. veterans, who care deeply about the safety of our community and our home. If they were doing anything that you allege they were, a 5 second conversation with them or a simple text to our property manager (whom you felt comfortable texting multiple times) would have rectified it. Not once in the history of the property serving as a vacation destination has any guest complained or brought to our attention what you allege. 90% of our guests these past three months were accompanied by children under the age of 13, and they all enjoyed amazing, family-friendly and safe vacations. Interestingly, you found the need to only include this as your review for this property. If a happy little island where strangers wave hello, neighbors leave their doors unlocked and folks are good-natured by default does not live up to your standards, we certainly hope you are able to find your perfect paradise in the future. Great Getaway
My family met here for Easter and the property did not disappoint. It is a smaller house, but just right for the 6 of us. The beach was very close and AMAZING. Perfect location. Property manager, Lexi, was AMAZING. We had a slight difficulty getting into the unit, but she was available and attentive to our needs. We would go back again.

Fantastic getaway!
Pool was amazing after a day at the beach. Very clean. Truly a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Yes there is a dishwasher too! Beach towels and beach stuff were great. Great dining at Olivers with nightly music was a plus.

Very Relaxing Beach Weekend!
"Toes in the Sand" rental home was perfect for our adult family. They had so many items to enhance our beach experience such as toys, bikes, chairs, fishing poles and coolers. The beach enterance was a short walk and the beach area was not crowded. We also LOVED the swimming pool in the back yard, we did not need to leave the property to have hours of entertainment.

Great family vacation
We enjoyed our stay at “toes in the sand”. They had every accommodation we needed to enjoy our trip. Perfect location. We walked to the beach daily. The Publix next door was super convenient . Kids loved coming back and swimming in the pool. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Already planning to return next year!!

Best Place Yet!
This was an amazing place. I've already booked for 2023. The property is well located with easy access to the beach and grocery store. But what stood out was that this place is updated and modern and CLEAN! It was so nice to feel like I didn't have to go through and clean before we could really relax and enjoy the place. A super added benefit was the CLEAN, heated pool! This will be our go to for years to come!

Great…however
The house was very nice. Location was good. Nice quiet neighborhood. Access to beach was convenient. It was a pet friendly house…..the back patio smelled very strongly of pet urine.

Perfect location and house
The house was an ideal location on the island! Right next to Publix for groceries and super quick walk to get to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed the pool in the backyard as well and the house itself was perfect for us. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Great Stay
Everything was as listed. Was a perfect stay for 5 days. We're able to walk to the beach every day for several hours and come back and swim in the nice pool.

House was excellent. Pool was entirely too cold to get in was too cold to register on our thermometer. Owner finally decided to have a neighbor turn it up which was our last day so of course it didn’t even get remotely cool

Thank you for the review........ Please accept our apologies about the pool temperature, with a 3 night only reservation and the later notification, there was not adequate time for the pool to heat up to a temperature comfortable enough for your liking as it does require time to heat. Unfortunately, we had a cold snap beginning as you were arriving which is uncommon for November and not expected as we normally do not have to turn pool heaters on until beginning of December. Obviously we can't control the weather but we did the best we could to assist in honoring your request. You are always welcome and we hope you have the opportunity to visit again in the near future! Amazing beach house !!!
So happy,we had wonderful time, the house is very cozy, nice location, just walking to the beach, grocery store around the corner. Definitely recommended.

Perfect vacation rental for our family!
We loved our stay! It was in a great location with friendly neighbors and walking distance to the beach. Glad there are bicycles to ride! My daughter loved riding on the beach! The wagon was perfect to take chairs down to the beach. Many shells to find all along the beach! Lots of great restaurants that are close enough to bike to. Grocery store was just around the corner, we walked to it! Pool was a little chilly as it is considered a summer month (November) so it was not heated, but we loved everything about the house! Back porch is a nice area to hang out! Thank you!

Had a wonderful time. House was darling. it would have been helpful to know that one of the bathrooms was only a 1/2 bath. Maybe it did say that, and I missed it...it was sometime a challenge with 6 women trying to get ready. could also use a LARGE fry pan. no pan was big enough to make enough scrambled eggs for 6 people.

Thank you for the 5 STAR review and I am sorry you did not see on the description that one of the bathrooms was only a 1/2 bath-but it does say that in 2 different places. The kitchen is stocked with the basics and there isn't a lot of room for a huge variety of pots & pans but I'm glad you were able to work it out and enjoy your time at the beach house! Very nice!
Very clean, back yard and pool was amazing! It is literally 2 blocks from beach..very easy walk. Short distance to Pier. We were only there for a weekend so wasn’t a huge deal for us but if we were there longer a dishwasher would have been nice..Also could not locate the washer and dryer..we did not need so I didn’t really look until I read the check out procedures... Publix is one block away so that was also very convenient..Very quiet as well.

Exactly As Advertised
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this great little "beachhouse" So convenient to so many things. Fantastic property manager who never tired of our questions before getting checked in and made all aspects of our vacation quite easy and relaxing.. The home has all the charm and amenities one could possibly want. It is clean and nicely appointed. We will certainly be back
