I'll be staying on-site at RFV in Sep for 21 nights. 1) I'll re-consider how I could arrange cupboards to provide more room for food storage. That said, I do label all cupboards re where everything should go, and some of the labels are "food storage". 2) I've described numerous times in my listing information the location of RFV/Villa G relative to the town of Deerfield Beach by pier (about 3/4 of a mile nearly all on sidewalk adjace ocen) and other towns. I also provide a write-up attachment of "Tom's Stops for Groceries & Restaurants", which includes directions & distances. I honestly don't know what more I can do. Lastly, in correspondence notes with Jennifer, I ask my guests to first contact the office for Q's/issues that arrise during your stay (I reside 1,300 miles away , but note I'm available to you if our office staff are unable to address to your needs. 3) Because of G's close proximity to pool, "excessive loudness" occasionally can be an issue, but rarely during quiet hours that begin at 8 or 9pm. My experience is our property manager always follows-up to excessive noise complaints, even if NOT during quiet hours -- she's a true professional re this particular matter Again, you should have let me know so I could then follow-up with our property manager -- which I always do. Finally... for our prospective guests who have read Jennifer's review, I ask you to at least scan the other recent reviews before forming an opinion.

Fernando - THANKS for very thorough evaluation. Re the ants, RFV contracts for monthly preventative plus follow-up as needed. Seems like we had a number of minor issues, way more than ever I can recall. What was different? I'll be investigating (unique weather conditions, new strain of ant, different preventative servicing chemicals, different preventative servicing spraying techniques/short-cuts, etc.) I'll be investigating! Glad you enjoyed. THANKS for thorough response. City/County replaced water main and sewer pipes, happens every 50 years or so. Fortunately your villas was/is near the ocean so you didn't need to deal with it much.

Pamela -- Please accept my apology re my oversight to timely respond to your review. I'm glad you and your girl friends enjoyed your ladies vacation stay in S Flordia, and appreciate the feedback you provided. Hope you will come back (make it a tradition!), as we continue to enhance this extraordinary ocean view/pool side villa. Recent enhancements include: 1) some VCool artwork upgrades in kitchen -- two professional photos of sea turtles -- a hatch-ling scurrying to ocean at dawn, and a juvenile swimming in ocean, a production large oil panting in gathering room, and a colorful fish print in guest bedroom; new mattresses in twin bedroom; 2) some lighting upgrades -- new floor/movable task Led task lamp in gathering room, and a movable LED reading/task table lamp for beverage bar or kitchen table; 3) new high-quality mattresses in twin bedroom; and 4) new stools in gathering room that better slide under the counter-bar. Hope to have new pic's taken this spring. Stay tuned! Best, tom

THANKS for all the feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay. I've contacted our onsite property manager re the small ants. Our resort has a contract with with an exterminator who does routine preventative treatments which usually are fairly effective. That said, occasionally ants will surface, and if so, our exterminator responds w/in 24 hours, usually same day if contacted in the AM, to resolve. All you needed to do was let our onsite office staff know of situation. Lesson-learned -- I'll post some related info inside kitchen cupboard door. Not sure what I can do about location of the 60" TV. The wall that it's on is the only place it can be located so the screen can be seen from both the gathering area (living room) and the eating nook and bar stools. I've noticed some guests will move the 2nd comfortable chair side-by-side the other comfortable chair so that two chairs directly faces the TV. Also, guests will sometimes arrange extra cushions on couch so they can sit comfortably angled toward the TV. When I return I'll try to come-up with some additional ideas for mitigating the issue you raised. Re the lock, if it's vertically while pressed in, it's supposed to pop-out when opened from the inside so it doesn't lock when re-closed (typically from the outside). If turned horizontally while pressed-in, it doesn't pop-out when the door is re-shut, so it automatically locks when re-closed. I'll test the locks the next time I'm there, and accordingly have locks fixed or replaced, and/or put some discrete signage on/near the door describing these somewhat esoteric settings. Our resort staff and I look forward to your return. And again, THANKS for the feedback.

I feature the pic's of the private beach initially because that's where most of our guests spend most of their time, and it's the prime feature (along with adjacent pool) that draws guests to this villa. Moreover, a click-through of the early pic's provides clarity of the distance to private beach (about 20 yards) and it's view from porch -- specifically, pic 8 of 48.
