"I had such a lovely and relaxing stay in this charming cottage. It has a wonderful old-fashioned character and history while still having everything you need for a comfortable stay. "Accommodation was fine, clean and had hardly any issues. But just a few comments. We are both in our mid 70's and my wife having had recent back surgery had a lot of difficulty climbing and descending 4 flights of very narrow stairs. Even I had trouble with them and I do not have big feet but I had to go down sideways. I am surprised they meet building standards. Could definitely do with a printed welcome pack in the room to get guests started with the amenities, there were no instructions for...

"Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again."

"My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at Tern Cottage. It was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a longer stay (washing machine was particularly useful). We also had mid stay housekeeping which we were very impressed with. The location of the Cottage is extremely close to all the shops, seafront, park and train station. "We had a lovely few days at The Boat House. Interesting, well converted property that was well equipped with beautiful views across the fields (deer occasionally wandered through). Very quiet and peaceful in the charming village of Itchenor -ideal for coastal walks locally or to other interesting places -The Witterings, Chichester etc. Buddy, our cockapoo enjoyed his stay too! Would definitely stay again"

"Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area."
