"We enjoyed our 4 night visit at The Cabin at Alta Vista. The cabin is a relaxing home away from home. There are so many personal touches the owners leave for their guests. The sunroom was our favorite place to hang as a family and work puzzles and play board games. The cabin is close to towns if you want to explore, but it's a wonderful space if you're looking for a rental to stay and recharge!"

"The posting warns about low ceilings and insects. I'm 6'1" and did fine, just watched my head on the step. I did see one spider, but otherwise very clean and not buggy. My only other criticism is there is one small trash can in the kitchen area and not the bathroom. Very cute and very comfortable, especially for just one night. My wife complimented it multiple times during our short time there."

"Pros- close to activities, cute home, large outdoor area, supplied coffee & variety of shower soaps. Great water pressure in shower. Fire pit was nice, need to take kindling. Bathrobes provided. Cons- stairs are treacherous. Railing is not attached properly. Weeds are taking over property. Walkway is hard to walk on. AC unit works but VERY loud right beside bed. "Perfect spot for a girls weekend. Plenty of space to sleep, without feeling like the rooms were crowded. All of the beds were comfortable, not a bad spot in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, so we were able to bring groceries and cook for most meals. It was even stocked with whole beans from a local coffee shop and a grinder- a great touch that we thoroughly enjoyed!
