"What a spot on the Potomac! Perfect base for exploration! We visited family in Charles Town. Went to Harper's Ferry a couple times, Antietam, Sharpsburg and Shepherdstown. American history at every turn. My boys catfished during the night. We loved it and the summer heat could only make it better.."

"Loved this cute little basement apartment for our stay at Harpers Ferry! Parking was a little tight but at least there was parking. The room still smelled new and beds were so comfortable! Only issue was the upstairs neighbors decided to run their water starting at 5:45am and the water pipes were very noisy in the basement! It woke both me and my friend up… we tried to fall back asleep but gave up by 7 when it was clear they were not turning it off anytime soon. Other than that it was great! "

Recommend to owner to instruct renters to add cleaning solution upon arrival if that’s what is required for it to be usable. Otherwise, a nice place to stay."

"In town for my Sister’s wedding. Stayed here for the weekend. Danny, the host, was easy to communicate with. Place was charming and very comfortable. Beds were comfy as advertised. Downtown Frederick is easily walkable, and hwy 70 was easy to get to to branch out further. Will stay here again if available the next time we are in town."

"We had 15 family members and friends staying there for 4 days. It was very comfortable and the kitchen is quite luxurious! Be aware that it's way out in the country, which was exactly what I wanted!Melissa was very responsive to our questions.Only issue we had was that the kitchen wasn't super clean (empty drawers had crumbs, microwave wasn't clean), but not bad enough to complain."
