"Overall was nice. Got a bit noisy at night from the bar as our room was in main floor ppl coming up from the lounge being loud. Everyone was nice. Got up morning to leave went out to car came back in a couldn’t get back in room had to be let back in cards didn’t work anymore. Parking was not the best you have to be back early to keep ur spot. "

I absolutely loved my room, with it's old school furnishings and a jetted tub - perfect for soaking after a long day of hiking. Megan, the Chef and manager was terrific. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"Ethan and his family werevery gracious and answered all our questions. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good.
