This property is in a good location and is ideal for larger families that need multiple bedrooms and space BUT it needs some repairs, upgrades and TLC so that renters don’t have to spend their vacation time contacting the maintenance company. Some of our issues were - A/C water dripping through vent in kitchen (had to constantly have towels on the floor to avoid slips); dish washer flooded kitchen (had to manually wash dishes); toilet handle broken (had to manually flush toilet); kitchen faucet handle not attached properly; both pool area umbrellas broken and not usable (need to replace and remove old ones); golf cart not able to go to beach without having to charge after each trip; refrigerator in main house missing drawer and shelf; pool was dirty. Would love to stay here again but owner needs to upgrade, fix and replace items.

Perfect for us!

We had a group of 13 and the space was more than enough for us. Host response time for questions and requests were quick. House was clean with several beach towels for use. The only confusing part was identifying which amenities or descriptions were relevant to our rental versus their other properties. Location was about a 5 min walk to the beach.

Great home for a large family

Had 18 people and plenty of space. Golf cart makes beach days alot easier. Pool gets afternoon shade which was nice. All in all a great place to stay and enjoy the beach.

Great experience!

We had a great time during our stay in Destin! The carriage house was perfect for our teenage kids to have their own space. The dishwasher was not working when we got there so we contacted the house manager and there was a new dishwasher installed during our stay. Other than that, we had a great experience. We would love to see the backyard be an additional space. The kids brainstormed things like a mini putt putt course, Cornhole area or even fire pit. Would definitely stay again!

Clean and Comfortable

The house was well kept, supplied and best of all clean. The golf cart was nice to have on hand. My only "complaint" in the listing is that the bunk/game room is not listed as basically a separate unit. We anticipated the smaller kids staying in that room, but if they needed anything in the middle of the night they would have had to come out through the pool area, through the gate up the stairs unlock a door to get to parents, but we made it work. If it was listed that way I missed it, my apologies. We had a great time!

Family Vacation

We loved the location. The walk to the beach was super easy and there is also a golf cart if you don’t want to walk. The house was bigger in person than it appeared in the pictures. I loved that they provided beach towels and bath towels. The carriage house had its own washer and dryer in addition to the one in the main house which was really nice. I wish there was a way to have the upper level of the carriage house connected to the lower level with an interior set of stairs, this would allow families with smaller children to utilize the game room as a sleep area but we had plenty of beds and the kids enjoyed the game room during the day. Check in and check out was super easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great House!

We had a great time at this property! Enjoyed the heated pool. Short walk to beach or you could use the golf cart. House was clean and we had plenty of room. We would definitely rent here again!

Spring Break 2024

Overall it was a fantastic stay. Thank you for allowing us an earlier check in. We did have a very minor issue with the pool heater and someone was out quickly to fix and very polite. It was Spring Break and the noise was an issue, but we understand the environments around us. Roku remotes were out in almost all rooms. We did bring extra and did replace. We love to cook and one recommendation would be for 2 larger size sheet pans. Location to the beach was unbeatable and the use of the LMV/golf cart was an added bonus. We loved the stay!

Great place, close to beach!

Plenty of room for kids and family! Close to the beach and big patio and pool area to relax in after. Despite the golf cart battery charger not working, still rating a 5!

Everything was as stated on the the listing and our families enjoyed our stay. Our older children had space to relax, as well as us adults and the younger kiddos. Very appreciative of the early check in notification we received and the responsive from host! Would definitely stay again!
